JLV Question
I was wondering how hard it would be to implement an object system similar to decals where you can grab the object and then click in a different spot and you have another object. Its just time consuming with a lot of the track making process, and this would make it go a lot faster.
(oh and on a side note how is the rider model coming?)

Re: JLV Question
Yeah I've asked him about this before. I think he is going to update the editor after the rider and multiplayer.

Re: JLV Question
I will do that but as DJ said I really want to get multiplayer going soon.
As for the updated rider, I was having some major handling problems with the looser rider movement but I think I'm finally hitting on some settings that work.

Re: JLV Question
The rider looks exactly the same so far. It just moves around better. There are still some handling issues to work out but it's at least close now. It was so bad at first that I was thinking of scrapping it!

Re: JLV Question
Not yet but it will soon since it's now just a matter of changing the center point of the springs that suspend the rider. The hard part was making the rider move fluidly without flopping around uncontrollably.

Re: JLV Question
I've got a feeling that once this comes out, were all going to get pissed off at the game again.

Re: JLV Question
Well, no that's no what I mean.
When I first started playing the game, I didn't know how to do anything, turn, jump, land, or even go in a straight line. If the handling changes are as big as I'm thinking, then we'll all need to relearn how to play the game, and I don't think it will even feel like the same game.
