phoenix rd2 sx updated

Post by barrington314 »

for anyone that missed this in the other thread...
Thanks JLV.
I didnt spend too much time on the changes, but I think its fun riding it pretty much how they did IRL. The quad after the whoops feels pretty cool. Kinda sketchy, just like the riders said it was. I adjusted the long rhythm lane so it wasn't AS easy to quad in the middle of it. And changed that step on line after the 2nd main triple.
Seems like it got harder to see transitions after I started updating it. IDK if thats because theres no shadows or what. But sorry about that.

yea i guess people didnt see the other thread. Downloads jumped up by like 70% since i posted it in here. My bad.
I might do the same thing for A1 and A2 if again, JLV does not care, and people like the idea of this.

Thank you so much! As I was watching the real life SX race I was noticing the differences between tracks. Glad someone had the idea to do this. :D

It would be sick if dirt wurx built all the tracks according to the track map. Then JLVs would be so close that updating wouldn't be necessary.

Please do this for all tracks! One of my favorite things to do is ride the track after the race and take similar lines...this just makes it oh so much more better. While I love JLVs cause you can kinda expect it to be a bit different from the map layouts they have online, it's also good to get the real deal. A1 would be awesome with that vert wall to sand instead of the double bump. Would also be really nice to have that weird table-top triple be to scale, instead of this tiny little jump that you bottom out on.

I liked the updated track. Fun to ride the actual layout they use rather than the track map. Maybe someday MXS will be big enough that they will collaborate to make the tracks the same. Doubt it will ever happen though.
