Little Gem Cycle Park 2nd Parking Lot Track

This isn't really a track that is very finished, but I have no idea what I'm doing in the editor, and was hoping to receive some guidance and tips from you gassy whores. The editor is pretty ugly and seemingly hard to use, but probably doesn't take rocket appliances to figure it out, I just am clueless.
The track is supposed to be a replica of a track at a local cycle park in Idaho that I ride at in the winter, but I can't get the elevation set the way I want, nor the berms shaped nicely. I have seen/heard that it is possible to take the height map from Google Earth, but it seems complicated without proper instruction. If someone could tell me the best way to draw out elevation and how to apply decals, that'd be decent. (If you got all the TPB referances, good for you. Season 9 was deeeecent)
