It’s been a hot minute since one of these bad boys have been hosted! I’m calling out everyone from the rF track crew, EMF crew, and all active in track creators both recent and former. I will be stepping up to come up with some solid prizes including cash money, awards and MudCone Clothing swag.
Details will develop/change slightly as this gets rolling I'm sure, but the basics are here so you can get yourself in the editors and moving digital dirt! Note that this is going to follow a similar structure and rules as the 2013 MOTC hosted by rF years ago.
If you have any questions, post them in this thread. I will do my best to answer them in a timely manner.
JLV, please unlock this post for updates.

2026 Outdoor Track Competition hosted by Rewind Track Works
What: 2026 custom outdoor track competition
Schedule:
• Competition starts now
• 5/25/2026 – Submission Opens
• 7/20/2026 – Submission Closes
• 7/24/2026 - Winners will be announced
• 7/24/2026 – Community voting for People’s Champion Award begins
• 7/30/2026 – Community voting closes and People’s Champion Award announced
The rules:
• One track per creator.
• One creator per entry. Team efforts are allowed, but you must choose an individual to represent your team and receive any prizes.
• A team can have multiple entries but each entry must have a unique creator to represent each track.
• Track can not be a re-make, or update. Tracks started prior to the competition that have not been shared may be used.
• Track must be outdoors. The type may be a National, Supercross, Freeride, Freestyle, Supermoto, Enduro, etc., but MUST BE IN AN OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT!
• Multiple tracks within the same environment (ie. Compounds) will be allowed but are discouraged as we don’t want this to turn into a compound or all in one map competition
• NO betas or sharing the track with ANYONE prior to the results of the competition being announced. Track may not be released prior to the results of the competition being announced.
• Track must be released in a folder format, without a .saf. Files must be left open in raw format, no .scram files allowed. All contents of track folder will be released for public use within MXSimulator without limitations (includes using, rendering, editing, etc.) following the competition. Any use of the files outside of MXSimulator must be negotiated between the person intending to use the files and the files creator/owner.
• Track must have at least 20 starting gates. Dual row starts are okay. If you choose to build a compound with multiple tracks, the track you choose as your “main track” must have atleast 20 gates.
• Preview pictures are allowed, but should only be posted in this thread. Judges (with the exception of myself) will not be told which track is which; however, if you choose to post screenshots of your track ahead of time, you will potentially give up your identity.
• Tracks should not be a resource hog. Judges reserve the right to knock points if they can't run your track. Use resources responsibly.
• When submitting, a track picture with the name of the track sized at 600x300 pixels should be included. This image should NOT include your name or allude to your identity.
• When submitting, a track map sized 960x960 showing the layout with each corner numbered must be included for judges to use when providing comments.
• When submitting, a readme.txt file should be included and feature the following info: Track Name, Track description (Under 1000 characters, explain your theme), Credits (credit those whose models, decals, etc. you used), and anyother info you want the judges to be aware of when playing your track (plays best on a certain bike or with a certain graphics setting, point out a key "free ride spot" that you wanted them to visit, etc.)
• All tracks should follow this naming convention in their Desc file. “Outdoor Track Collection: trackname”. Quotations not included in naming. Your folder name should reference your track name (for ease of organization), but may be named however you'd like.
• All objects, decals, skyboxes, or any other assets must be included in your track folder and referenced from your track folder. Tracks are not allowed to reference other tracks or object packs. If your track causes a server error "client track modified" you will be disqualified. If your decals or skybox, or other item is referenced that doesn't cause a server error, you may be judged without those items present. JUDGES WILL NOT DOWNLOAD ANY ADDITIONAL TRACKS OR OBJECT PACKS.
• By entering, you are giving permission to MXSimulator, and/or Zachery Nobrega (mxrewind665) to release/distribute/repackage your work. Your work will only be shared with credit given to the creator(s) for download and use within MXSimulator. (I just want permission to package the tracks and host downloads as needed to distribute the tracks to the community after the contest.)
•MXSimulator/Zachery Nobrega and/or any of the affiliates, the contest judges, and the MXSimulator gaming community reserve the right to release screenshots, videos, and other promotional material using your track both prior to and after the public release of your track.

The link to download your track should be EMAILED to mxrewind@hotmail.com.
Your upload should include the following in the .rar or .zip file.:
