everyone here is very aware of a racing quads abilities. we arent the average goons. (well most of us arent) lol

and i wasn't saying they are slow, i was just saying that the sx tracks they race on are different than the ones that the AMA series uses.

that being said, on that track, it wouldn't surprise me that the quads are just as fast due to the flat corners.

There is no way a quad could run the ama supercross tracks. I run Pro-am and A class on a quad so you're going to have to trust me here, there is just no way a 55 hp motor in a 400 pound frame could never keep up with a 450 or 250 bike. Comparing bikes and quads are like comparing apples and oranges... they are just 2 entirely different things.

in the 2010 Canadian series they had the exact same track and the quads actually put down a faster lap time that most of the bikes, i don't know the track style though, it might have flat corners, but it was super cross.

yeah it was in montreal that i heard about it in dirt wheels magazine was at the montreal race
