Pictures of your drawings

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Index finger is out of the frame. It's supposed to be raised up, but I think I'm going to add half of it in so it doesn't look like I'm missing a pinky.

That makes sense. I was thinking that was a rather small ring finger.

Got bored, been listening to a lot of Hopsin, and wanted to try out drawing something in Illustrator. Will probably add more detail later but whateves.

Looks pretty nice. I like the way you incorporated the dotted lines. I would suggest doing the shading on the hat with different layers on different opacities instead of a straight up gradient, though.

My teacher gave me this shot of a picture I drew a while back. Our class drew portraits for impoverished kids in Asia. I think this guy was from Malaysia.

Also got a higher res shot of this one.

18x24, I believe

A tryptic made up of 2 and a half quick still lives to work on line work with the pen tool. Quality is a photobucket issue. It's straight black and white. I want to thicken up the lines on the goggle frames (although I do like the depth of field effect that the thinner lines create) and fix up the line work on the visor on the right one where I got too bold.

For sure. Looks dope. I can never figure out how people draw with mechanical pencils.

I have a huge kit of every type of anything to draw with. But, I still find myself going back to mechanical.

It's just a preference thing. My personal favorite these days is a black Prismacolor since it's waxy and darker than graphite. You don't get quite the range of light grays as easily as a #2, but it looks good for high contrast stuff.

Latest one, another of TG's shots. 12x12 maybe?

Wanted to share a few of my brother's pieces that he's digitally painted in Photoshop. Wish I had this kid's drawing talent. I just point a camera.

August, you don't even know how many times I've tried to get him to make graphics. He doesn't feel like he can do it, yet he's making paintings like that. haha. I think he doubts himself a little too much, but he'll get there. I try and get him out of his comfort zone as much as possible.
