250 2 smokes premix question

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

When I started running H1R I noticed there was no longer any oil pooled in the crankcase, instead it was coating everything with a nice film of oil. Definitely good stuff.

I only use Castor 927 or Klotz Benol in my bike, at 32:1.... except when the temperatures drop below about 50degrees, then i switch to yamalube. Castor's don't mix well when the fuel is cold.

Isn't yamalube a blend? I wouldn't use that.

What's with people saying it's bad to run different oils in your bike? Like, say with 1 5gal jerry can I used Opti-2, and then the next 5gal I used Klotz? Both mixed at the same ratio of 40:1 of course? Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't it only matter on the premix ratio? Or is it because they might be different kind's of oil? I've never fouled a plug or gone through a bottom end/top end because of not getting enough oil to any of the motor, only becuase of normal wear and tear. I used to run Opti-2 religiously but I now run some Lucas stuff because that's all they had when I was on vacation riding (and I forgot to bring my opti-2 :x ) They didn't have any small jug's either, only 4L. I'm going to pick up some Klotz soon, but should I finish using the lucas stuff first? I usually go through a Canadian 5Gal (20L) jerry can in 2-3 rides.

A question for you guy's with 07+ YZ's, I notice my bike is very flat up top. It's been like that since I bought it (had 5 hours on it when I picked it up) and I heard its normal for our bikes. I have a fresh top end, replaced the packing (even though the original stuff was like new), no dent's in my pipe etc. Are there any jetting changes I can make to make it pull a bit harder up top, or do I need to pick up a pipe? I beleive I'm running factory jetting right now (haven't even looked at it because it's running fine where it's at). Also, is it worth investing in a 7oz flywheel weight for the track? My dad ran a 13oz for the bush on his 04/07/08/09, but he sold all of the goodies for them. I heard a 7oz is pretty much the perfect amount to let you get traction on hardpack but still get on top of the sand and take off like a 2 stroke should. Any advice would be appreciated.

You'd have to get an aftermarket pipe and silencer combo, I believe. Yz's are midrange bikes in my opinion. If you want a stock bike that rips in the top end, buy a CR. They're turds unless you're revving the piss out if it. KTM's are good choices too. They pull hard everywhere.

In fact, just go with the KTM. :-D The 2013 sx is sexy as and fast as hell.

Coming from 16 year olds....lol.

If it weren't for financing, there wouldn't be many people with a bike nowadays. Plus it helps your credit, which helps you get other things..like a car and house. Financing is not bad unless you don't make your payments.

You're still taking a chance when you sign that contract. I'd much rather buy a bike straight up.

Didn't realize that was a full synthetic. I ran a tank of Golden Spectro (a synthetic blend) before I did a top end once. Everything looked dry, just like it looks when you run outboard oil. I went right back to using H1R. I won a bottle of MC1 (yet another blend) sometime after that and gave it to someone to run in their chainsaw.
