MXS Twitter

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Because it slowly lets go, the block and heads often warp due to disagreeing expanding properties between the two(block is cast iron and the heads are aluminum). So pretty much if the gasket is gone, its almost guaranteed that the head and block will need to be resurfaced. Thats also very risky, because they can only be machined so much before they are un-usable. Its a shame... That truck is so clean...

Looks like I'll be looking for the same truck with a 22re.
Good choice. Ford made that mistake back in 07-08 on the 4.0s, heads would warp at like 70, 000 mi. we charge 2400 $ to do one. Most of that if for the machine shop working the heads. Honestly though I dont see it on that yota motor too often. But man that motors a dog! 22 way better

145HP/160ft-lbs out of a 3.0 V6... Thats less power than a civic with the same fuel economy as a 350 small block... The reason the head gaskets go is 1. because the US banned asbestos HG's (and Toyota had to makeshift a metal one), and 2.The Vehicles that the HG's go in are mainly from the Cali plant. The Cali plant was not torquing the heads down properly. They were supposed to be torqued to spec, turned another 90 degrees, and then yet another 90. They were only torquing them to spec at that plant...

For the people who JB'd using evasi0n yesterday: DO NOT INSTALL ZEPHYR! It will soft brick your phone if you go to restart it, and you will need to restore and re-JB your device, and also re-download all of your tweaks, themes, etc. I spent 5+ Hours getting my phone how I wanted it last night too... Goddamnit.

I have this essay to write, have Crysis to play, and have Sim to watch. Not a bad combo, but I could do without the essay.

Is that how you want to present yourself, or is that taken more lightly in Canada too?

Nope, not taken too lightly. That kinda behaviour usually leads to a trip to the dentist around here

What compels someone to say or even do something like that. That's fucked up.
