Whats your pc?

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Excluding OS you say?

While I agree that building one at this price point is dumb as with every $50 or so there is such an increase in power but, a budget is a budget.

Once again, you are using it for games. Put most of the money into what powers them, just get solid enough parts around it. You could swap the CPU/MB choice I have for the Intel version but, I'd go i3 over the Pentium because of the core count and newer games are launching with no support for dual core anymore and require four cores.

Considering he didn't put OS in his build I don't think he needed it. What did you think about mine? I guess I could of added the 960, but I didn't think about it lol

I agree with the other guys, save up some and put on top of the $500. You could get way better performance out of a $750-$800 than a $500.

Man, I wish my parents would help fund something like this. But I guess my 4.2-4.3 GPA and straight A's in my classes since 8th grade is expected of me lol. Nothing directed harsh toward you John, just really cool that your parents are funding the majority of it.

Thanks. Damn a 4.2? That's amazing lol. Thanks guys. I'll save up another $200-400 to get better performance. Thanks!

Yours isn't a bad suggestion, I try and keep updated parts to people though. Nothing wrong with a 660, but newer cards have more features/better performance for very little extra so I most of the time suggest newer.

Well, 'bout to contradict myself really hard but... both of these are hella deals for $100.

EVGA factory refurb 670/590. These cards will perform similar to a GTX760

Turns out that was a big sell that also included X79 and Z87 boards. Unfortunately, its mostly gone now.

Still the GTX 570/580 are good for MXS.

I'd say most people probably bought 2 or 3 of the 670s at a time.

The GTX 590 for $100 is such a stupid deal. You could have had such a sick rig with this sale, a X79 board for $50 and two GTX590 (Quad SLI 580) for $200? So hella sick brah.

Wow, after seeing this sale, I might get a couple 670's instead of a 960...

The only downside is I'm not exactly sure if the GTX 500/600's will have support for DX12 which is coming out soon.

To buy a 500GB 850 Evo for $178 or not to buy. Hmmmm. My 256 is full to the point that I have had to symlink some stuff off of it, some more space would be nice.

Install your OS and all your games that you play regularly.
