2012 World Championships.

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

What does that article say? Well ... An MX2 world champion can only defend his title once. So if Jeffrey wins the title this year (2012) AND next year (2013) then he has to move on to the MX2 class. On an age of 19!!!
Because the fim has the following rule: “A World Champion in the MX2 class will be allowed to defend his world title once only (in the year following the winning of the title).”
If he's winning this years title and next years title (the one of next year is nearly 100% sure because of that other joke rule of -23y.) Then he's thinking about moving over to the US.
The most recent person who did that was Marvin Musquin, he was also forced to move over to the MX1 after this title 2 years ago.

Yeeey ... Youthstream just managed to get another great European moved to the US. I only see 1 advantage in that. No more discussions on who has the best championship + the whole mx community would now have 1 best Championship instead of 2.
Damn that really sucks. It wasnt many years ago that the world championship actually was The World championship. Always real qualifiers where the fast guys got in and the slow did not... Now you just buy your spot, and if you are good you just go to america... Sucks seeing so many talents staying at home because of the fkd up system when the tracks and organization of the races are actually good.

it are stupid rules but on the other hand they'r good to because if riders like Herlings will race the mx2 class for 5 years and he win the championschip
after championschip every year the other riders dont get a change and like riders that are to old thats a good rule to because i think there must come
a moment in your carreer that you must move up they have just the bad luck next year that the top 4 rider have to move up because off this rule so
if this wasnt like that nobody would complaint about it . . . . . .
In the US they have a rule if you take 3 or 4seasons in a row and X amount of points that you have to move up, that would be way better than an age limit or a silly rule like this.
Because 23 is realy young. I'm 19 years old and just got off high school, imagine I would be a dirtbike racer. 2013 (when I'm 20) would be my first year of full time racing. Then I have 3years to prove my worth on an MX2 bike before they give me a kick in the ass and make me ride an MX1 bike.

And the most funny thing about this whole joke is that the maximum age of the EMX2 championship is 50years. I see a moment in the future where the EMX2 will be better than the normal "world" MX2 class.

Herlings said if he gets an decent offer in the US that he's off. I wouldn't be suprised if he would go ktm over there while Musquin would come back or move up to the 450's.

That 2nd MX2 moto was a sick race. Was sweet to see Searle clean out Herlings, then Herlings went into beast mode and caught him in like 3 laps. Little disappointed in his revenge though. Searle made a mistake so Herlings couldn't really pay him back properly.

I know Herlings for a while now, since he was about 8 years old I guess or something and wat Searle did, pull out of the way, was probably the smartest thing he did all year. Herlings would have T-boned him in the bowl turn where Searle chose the wide line continuously. He really wanted to give Searle a payback, could just tell, just the way he was riding and his laptimes dropped immediately.. Next race is in Matterly Basin, home race for Searle, and then off to Lierop, home race for Herlings. I think Herlings will lap down everybody till the 5th place or something there.

I just hope Youthstream doesn't touch the track and don't put waves in like 2 years ago. Lierop is the nicest when they make it flat for the first practice and don't touch it till the weekend is done. Or just reshape the faces of the jumps saturday eve.
