Brina, (or anyone else with a 150 SX), did you have to go richer on your main jet? I swear I can hear a little detonation when I open the throttle in too high a gear.

I know when she got the bike they said after break in that it would be best to change the main jet. I believe they said to a bigger one? Idk. I'm no mechanic lol

We had to go really high on my 144 but that was a 2007 so I don't know. Everyone I known though that has a ktm has had to jet up.

I'm no mechanic either, nor am I all that Moto smart, but everyone I talk to says something about being jetted rich. Not sure if that's good or bad and not sure what you mean by little detonation but when I was in too high of a gear sometimes it just wouldn't wanna go at all but once I got the pipe (with rejetting) I haven't had that problem.

Bleugh! My dad used to have one. Didn't take him long to get rid of the stock stickers and disgusting seat. He cut his own "RM" graphics out of some blue vinyl sheet (nicely accented with white paint pen), cut his own seat cover from some blue faux leather stuff and if I remember rightly he painted the frame blue. He'd be laughed out of the paddock these days.

My shifter just fell off the other day. Kept riding it in 3rd for a few laps. Yolo.

i blew my 250f up last year when i hit a small tree stump and the shifter pierced the engine casing.
