MXS Twitter

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

I would have gotten Windows 7. Everyone that I know who games on Windows 8 has issues. I would probably worry about upgrading your GPU before getting an SSD. Mine is nice, but it's really only good for fast boot.

You'll probably have to reinstall programs. If you can pull your previous HDD and hook it up to your new motherboard, though, you can transfer files.

Alright thanks, and yea I'm actually pretty comfortable with Win7 right now but I figured I should get win8 so I don't get too far behind once win9 comes out or something new. But thanks for the tips, maybe if I end up hating 8 I can install 7 instead. I don't have a problem with waiting for boot times either and SSD's are pretty expensive so that's another reason I was going to wait.

I don't have any games installed on my SSD anymore, but I didn't see any difference in load times with MXS. BF3 loaded quickly, but I hadn't played in months and the game is pretty well optimized, so there could have very well been a placebo effect there. Because it's only 128GB, I stick to using it for Windows and programs that I need to be as fast as possible, i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, and Vegas. It's nice to have my PC boot quickly, but sometimes my older monitor takes longer than my PC to boot, so that's annoying.

Mxs reads the personal folder on startup, so if assume you'd have to put that on the SSD to see faster load times...but I don't think that would be advisable.

Any high schoolers know how to check AP scores online? Collegeboard's website really sucks, and I keep getting redirected to pages that don't seem to exist.

What I did is went to this website, then just clicked on "view your scores" and just followed the directions from there.

Thanks a bunch. I wish my US History teacher had taught for the test. 4 on English, 3 on World History, and 2 on US History.

Just attempted to watch the videos for Evan's video contest. Got about 20 seconds into the second one and now want to smash my face into the desk to never heard dubstep again.

The video and 20 seconds I watched looked pretty cool. Maybe I'll attempt again later with the shit music muted.

If you're going to do a video contest, don't specify the music. Music choice is one of the hardest parts of making a video, and that should play into the contest. Plus, the music that you choose all kind of sucks.
