True, I haven't really been watching it this year. I went to watch it live last year which was awesome though. It's also a shame to hear the Andrea Antonelli passed away.

I remember watching that race live on tv, it was crazy! I love how Jack Burnicle can barely speak as they cross the line "is it gonna be Hill, is it gonna be hopkins, IT'S HIIILLLLL" haha

I've been to the bsb quite a few times since I was a kid and I went last year to Oulton as I only live 5 minutes away. We watched for quite a while where they drop down over the crest of the hill into Cascades. All the fast boys were hitting the limiter just as they dropped down the hill, it sounded so sick! I managed to find a video of it from pretty much right where we were stood on the same day haha you can hear them hitting the limiter

I only got to see "GP Bikes" once. WERA Formula USA came through Seattle in '91 and I got to see the "old" Marlboro Yami YZR500's doing 180mph there. That was music! You could really hear the radiator scooping up the air as they approached and that crackin' two-smoke ripping sound as they passed by. Hair-raising.
