Re: MXS Twitter
What the hell is with scammers lately? I posted my bike for sale on Craigslist and cycle trader and every single offer has been a scammer. All my previous times trying to sell a bike never had a single scammer, just people legitly interested and it's the complete opposite this time. So annoying.

Why don't you put it on eBay too?

eBay fees are a pain, plus most people on there are not looking locally. Craigslist at least is solely based off of your location.JT43 wrote:Why don't you put it on eBay too?

This IG page has been stealing our screenshots for a while, I guess. I shouldn't be as worked up about it as I am, but it is pretty gay.

Re: MXS Twitter
I have to deal with this regularly on Instagram with my own personal photos that I take from the races and what not. Absolutely drives me insane. IG accounts consistently use my work, often times without asking or giving credit. "At least they gave you credit." Hate when people say that. For me personally, credit doesn't pay my bills. If it did, I'd be pretty damn rich. All that these "MXedits" or "mxdaily" accounts do is sit on their ass, wait for me to post a picture that I worked for, screenshot it from my account to theirs (often times add a shitty filter) and wait for the likes and new followers to roll in. I know that the "mxdaily" account has advertised to sell their account to any company or person that wants it, making money off of the 77,000 followers that they have. All of those followers technically come from photos that these MX IG accounts have taken from multiple photographers without permission. They essentially build up their profile without really working for it. #RantDone---RiLeY---151--- wrote:I don't see a problem its just a page. At least they even gave you credit. Thanks for the explanation. I was always curious exactly why the photogs got upset in this case. In most cases I knew, but this one didn't make sense till you mentioned them selling off the profile.TGphoto wrote:I have to deal with this regularly on Instagram with my own personal photos that I take from the races and what not. Re: MXS Twitter
I knew about it for a while. I hate them just because of how unoriginal they are. Someone elses photo or screenshot is being taken without that person being notified and someone else is basking in the glory of that shot. The account doesn't disgust me nearly as much that the account has 350+ followers. People actually like that?
Re: MXS Twitter
Do you send takedown notices to Instagram? IIRC the DMCA requires them to remove the account for serial offenders.TGphoto wrote:I have to deal with this regularly on Instagram with my own personal photos that I take from the races and what not. Re: MXS Twitter
If I find someone posting my work, I usually ask them to take the photo down first. Some complain about me telling them to take it down, but most usually do after a few choice words are said. If it ever got to the point that they didn't, then I would send Instagram a take down notice.jlv wrote: Do you send takedown notices to Instagram? Re: MXS Twitter
Place it further back on your helmet

Re: MXS Twitter
did you change the angle it was on your helmet? or did you change the settings? sometimes mine goes to 960p from 1080p on its own.

Re: MXS Twitter
There is definitely more field in the first photo than in the second.
