It's kind of hard to tell what happens in the slowmo shot on the liveleak video. Does he hit his head? It looks like it but at the same time it doesn't. According to someone on vital he was conscious the whole time and waving to the crowd.

Bruce shattered his T11 vertebrate and is fresh out of surgery. The doctors are waiting for the swelling to go down to see how badly his spinal cord is damaged. He said he couldn't feel his legs before he made it to the hospital but it could just be the back injury, not paralysis. He's still in Ontario and will be transferred back to British Columbia in about a week. I hope for a speed recovery for him.
