2013 AMA Supercross Discussion

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Dungey checking up sent Barcia's world head first into a berm. You can hardly see him crash but you can see the puff of dirt from him hitting the berm. He easily ate the most shit out of that turn.

Actually, rewatching that and Barcia was the first one to hit the ground. Dungey was just drifting the the whoops and cut Barcia off.

I am pretty sure I saw the same race as you, but him going down was a result of what was about to go down in 2nd turn, because Dungey was Drifting on him.Internet is bad atm, so can't really watch the replay.

True you're correct it was a race incident, but someone was still to blame. That person was Reed sadly.
Osari52 wrote:"If JS7 did it you all would be throwing blame on him"
Yea if you can not see how that would go down , than where have you been in the past?
Had that Been James in Reeds position holy hell at the shit storm of haters would be coming out from Hibernation. Even last night people where tweeting without knowing the truth , that is was Stewarts fault lol.
, from what I seen, I do not think Reed/Grant would have stayed up.Looked like grant was locked onto Reeds bike coming out of the whoops, James as you said was in a bad spot.

Either way it was a bummer, because from the outside looking in, I really thought Last night James could have made a race out of it, even with a badstart. Although RV with a holeshot is a bad thing for the other 19 riders.

Pretty much.

Aside from my heart ache for Tomac, I'm super excited for Roczen finally getting that win, well deserved that's for sure.

Anyone hear anything about the injury extents for Stew/Barcia/Tomac?

No clue as of yet, I am sure by Thursday we will hear something. It looked like Barcia Passed out or was knocked out after he laid down on the berm. Hope he is ok. his season went from great to a dead stop.

As for Stewart, I admire him wanting to race, and hanging in there. Even tho yes , I am a Stewart Fanboy so to speak, I think he just needs to hang it up for this sx season. Heal up comeback ready for Monster Cup/2014 sx. Because no way in hell he will race nationals at this point sadly

For the record:

That's barcia trying to stay away from everyone after not getting a great start. But as everyone knows, he was still taken down...

Factory Honda, take those black wheels off the bikes, breaking tradition is bad luck.

2nd turn sponsored by MX Simulator!

Did Millsaps touch Reed in the whoops to start it all off?

You might be onto something there. Millsaps starts heading left when Reed starts heading right

Hmmm never noticed that :? But I guess judging by the looks of the Thumbnail, there was deff some contact or something going on with them in whoops. Nice catch

Just saw the lites.. Sucks to see Tomac down, hope he is allright to continue the championship battle. Stoked to see Roczen get his first win this season, this west coast series could get pretty sweet by the end in points!
450's yeah .. sucked to see 3 possible winners down in the 2nd corner. Dungey impressed my for the first time this sx season! Other then that the field better watches out cause RV is on the hunt. I for one hope Millsaps can hold on for it for some weeks.. not to forget Canard who's also up in the points mix!

I really think it was Grants fault. He could of hit the brakes at anytime but he decides to pin it and not even turn. In the process just picks Reed up and pushes him into Stewart.

I think he was squirrelly and had no chance to get on the brakes. Nobody just t-bones half the field on purpose! Except friese maybe...

Well just listened to Dirt Sharks Sharkbytes, and have to say a bit dissapointed in Reed, and how he acts , and assumes James hit him from behind going into the turn, he must be oblivious to see he Pile Drived the field ( on accident of course )

After seeing the pic that Mona has, and considering where the giant rut was in the whoops looks like Reed drifted they touched and shot different directions, then Reed/Grant's main concern was not to get off balance which in turn made them forget about the turn that was coming.
