Just swapped the sky and carried over some of the roost, but I figured it might help you guys to see how I went about doing it.

Real life graphics are made in Illustator usually. Your cover is cool but I think you have to go over the lines so when its printed you won't see edges. At least that's what I see companies do. As for materials, search google.

Yes use illustrator it works on a vector so what ever size it will always have smooth crisp edges.
Its not as easy to understand as photoshop but for designs like pattern and logos its the way to go for professional quality work.

It's not that much different and well worth it. If you plan on having your designs printed and cut, it needs to be in vector format.Kording wrote:NO its notMikeyyart10 wrote:Its not as easy to understand as photoshop.... i tried it and i thought: "mh well i dont get it. ........I will use photoshop"

Looking for some advice...
Before

After

This is like roughly 30min work, still need to work on the background. Again, looking for advice from the pros.

it looks good! do you just use photoshop to edit your shots? i've been using camera raw and its epic, but you have to shoot in raw format.Judge wrote:Looking for some advice...

Re: Post your Photoshop work
Yup I use Photoshop only, never really tried RAW editing, what software do you use for that?
My old 1000D came with some RAW editing software but someone lost the key or something like that so...
I also need to start using lightroom

More.
You'll get tired of me soon

Another try at a different sky... it's kinda hard to get a fitting sky.
