You play the Guitar Jones? Nice load of trophies you got too hahah, all for mx as far as I can see?
Jeff, as Mikey said, 3rd one looks pretty sick, I like the 1st one too.
I'm looking forward on getting a 500D sometime soon, although maybe it will take longer than expected. Anyways does anyone have this camera/has tried it and knows anything I should hear about?
I've had a 1000D but those are like the from the EOS gama as far as I know so I guess there's quite a difference...

Sadly no, that is my homemade Guitar. Never finished my fret board and neck (i think?) due to changing schools and leaving woodshop.Judge wrote:You play the Guitar Jones? Nice load of trophies you got too hahah, all for mx as far as I can see?
only one to win something real from the game!
Re: Photography
I like it, but I think a 50 mm would of been better. Why am I telling you this on here? I really don't know.TGphoto wrote:RIP Jesse, miss you dude! Have this sticker on the hood of one of my lenses.

Yeah, the 50mm is good, but I like how much control that you have over the focus with the Macro. If I shot that photo with a 50mm, that whole sticker would be in focus, rather than just the 956 in focus and everything slowly fades out.Jones221 wrote:I like it, but I think a 50 mm would of been better. Also, i guess you shoot in raw and open with bridge? bridge's "menu" when you open it to photoshop is awesome aswell IMO, can always do some minor and great changes thru that program. And that 3rd pic was amazing! wow keep it upmotoxjeff#7 wrote:PS, but I remember you talking about PS lightroom, not sure exactly what the differences are other than one is specific for Photography so to speak. Is it better for what I am trying to accomplish?
Re: Photography
But you need a damn big memorycard for RAW and time. Mx picture's are most of the time up the same day or the day after. And if you work in RAW you're forced to put EVERY single photo trough one of the editing programs. While in Jpg you can make a selection before you start editing. Wich make's things a little easier.
I normally can shoot around 1100 photo's on each card, .jpg, highest res. and quality. But when I change it up to RAW then it is just around 300. Wich is not much for a day full of mx.
That are 8laps taking photo's of every rider or 8laps for each class 250/450 if you only photograph the first 20 riders.
But keep on doing what you're doing Todd. You're a source of inspiration for me

Do you have those last two in a higher res?
Re: Photography
This is taken by my dad and not really the best of photography or cameras, but a dove smashed into our window and I reckon it looks pretty cool.
