I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Lfs/Netkarpro/Iracing

Post by mace-x »

Well, i like live for speed, i was thinking about buying a s1 license to be able to race with the xrgt to drift ich i love, on the other hand tested net kar pro and i was amazed, it felt so right and awesome, and on the other side is iracing, but they dont offer a demo or anithing so i would be buying eyes closed.....
lfs: 12 euro
Netkar: 15 euro
Iracing: 12 euro per 3 months (promotion)

so, wich one would you guys pick?
im mostly between netkarpro and lfs, god, im collapsing hahahaha.

btw, i want to enjoy it, not racing like a pro, also i´ve heard that lfs is about to make a big tyre modeling physic updato so it should improve...

suggestions?

LFS: Street tires. Cars are very forgiving, and many cars to choose from. Nearly no online racing.
NKP: Hardcore sim, very limited selection of cars and tracks. Nearly no online racing.
iRacing: Hardcore sim, many cars and tracks to choose from. Monthly subscription, and the cars and tracks cost money. More online racing than you can handle

IMO iRacing is the best sim out of them, thrown over the top by the fact that you can actually find good racing on it. However the money needed to play is quite a lot more than the other options. I'd go for what's cheapest now, and get a copy of rFactor2 when it comes out as I imagine the online racing will be plentiful.

If drifting as what you want to do, get LFS.

im about to get lfs and netkar, lfs is great for drifting and having fun, you can now use the editor to add sily stuff and have fun, but netkar was awesome, the best feeling of racing i´ve ever had...
damn, i might go and just buy netkar first as i think that i get more stuff for almost the same price and it has a track editor wich i like to play with hahaha.
thanks for the reply pathry! :D
