Question?

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Question?

Post by Bret The Jet »

I really was thinking pretty hard about what topic this should go under. I just thought I'd put it here since it's kinda boarder lined. Okay... Now to the question. I've always wondered about people stealing a game. This game really sticks out to me because when you get an email it has the download link to the game and you can just forward the link to someone and they can just download it. I know they need a registration key and they can't play online and that's pretty much 95% of the game.

Soooooo tonight during the live stream for the rF National, (there's always some kids from alive or reflex and that gaming website Mxonlinetournaments) I have nothing against the people that play MVA games but just the kids at Mxonlinetournaments. They always think they know everything about MX games but always ask 1231241232 questions about MXS  . Well in the chat room some kid (im going to call him kid#1  ) was in there and he was "playing" around about getting a link from some one for MXS. I really don't think it's a "playing" matter. As soon as the kid said that everybody told him to GTFO. After the race was over i went to mxonlinetournaments website and there's a chat box thing and he was asking somebody again for a link. Then the kid (im going to call this kid, kid#2) he asked, said I got a link from someone else.

So what im getting at here is kid#2 said I'm going to call (more like email) the maker of the game and see if I can get a Registration key. JLV do you even care that they have the game but they can't play online? Or do u just leave it be because they pretty have no use for it because they cant play online? Just a curious boy. haha :D

The download link provided after the order has a download/time limit before it expires.

Doesn't explain anything. Whats stopping me from downloading it and just popping the installer on mediafire. (Hypothetically speaking of course)
The game should require you to have a key for online and offline.

I'm pretty sure telling people on the forum how to hypothetically steal the game isnt a good idea

I agree with Boblob, would this be hard to do?

I was in this, possibly before Bret was, but yeah the kid was serious, then played the "I'm joking" card. It has to be something that's taken care of, even though the game doesn't quite have as many features offline.
