Guess I missed the whole race then. As I recall Stewart did pass Poto at one point. Not saying Stewart is the best but the fact that he pulled that line first line makes him a unique rider.

Wonder how many people were hitting it in practice. they pribably had the line ready, where as sometimes they try a line for the first time in SX and just go with it. Sucks to see him hit it, and then another lap eat it. im never one to say THIS GUYS THE BEST, lots of great racing involved, and james was the one to stay up and put together the best overall.

nonetheless i loved the race there battle for the lead was really good there for a while up until the wreck. Sucks for Villopoto, but its nice to see Stewart win something.

No doubt they did but from experience hitting the big lines at race pace is so much harder. The fatigue is such a big factor, could be why he went down.

yeah. such a gnarly jump. Was awesome watching SX practice and them never doing a line, and someone stepping up (normally poto, stew, or tomac) in the mains and quadding something nobody else has in the heats/practice.

They said they didn't think anyone hit it at all that day. As far as him being the best? Far from it imo. Villi just made one mistake that cost him, everyone makes mistakes every once in awhile.

Stewy was winning before that crash. Being the fastest guy for 10 laps 2/3 times is what makes him the best, not RV crashing.
