B.A.S.E. Jumping Web Edition

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

B.A.S.E. Jumping Web Edition

Post by Vellu »

I was surfing on youtube (started from DJ's Sugar Gliders-->wing suits-->etc. :D) and found this:

(of course check also ingame vids from related)

Well, after a bit of googling I found out that it was freely downloadable: http://d3company.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=857
Also the source code is available for free.

It's really cool feeling to fly with a wing suit through canyons, also the first person camera looks really cool . Of course the suits, parachutes etc. are skinnable, and I also think there's a mission editor but I haven't got around to it yet. One big minus is the lack of multiplayer but I think someone on the forums is developing the game further.

I know I'm not much of an advertiser and just got this game yesterday, but I highly suggest you to try it out.

Haha, a "few" times
Still a few suggestions, install the latest patch (you get free mode, so you really don't have to travel to locations. This is much better if you just want to jump and not play the career)
Also my fav mission so far, the plane chase

It's really challenging to try control yourself as near as possible.

I'm going to install it in a second. Looks pretty cool.

If none of you guys know about Baffin Island, it's my favorite place on earth.

The cliffs are massive, some with 30+ seconds of drop.

That's pretty cool. I would hate it though, I can't stand the feeling of just falling, that feeling you get in your stomach. Don't know how people can like that.

What was it?

I got physx-d.dll, that was missing, so I downloaded Aegias physics driver, and it works fine.

I found that this thread gave the best how-to on how to install the game:
