I've been looking around for some good gaming laptops,
preferrably around $600 - $1000. Anyone know a good one?
I like the cyberpowerpc.com gaming notebooks,
and I also like the Razer Blade, but their a little over the budget.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Check out MSI, they have several models in the $850-$1000 range so you can pick what exactly you want. I have one I bought about 5 years ago and it is still going strong although I did build a desktop to do most of my work/play on.

Where did you buy yours at? It looks like MSI doesn't sell them on their site.
I looked for locations in my area, but it couldn't find any.

I bought mine from:
http://www.gentechpc.com/
Newegg also has quite a few of them and they are probably cheaper unless you want someone to modify it with a warranty (Gentech will do that) then I would just pick one and buy on Newegg.
IDK where you are but if you are outside the US you will probably have to locate a reseller in your country.

Re: Best Budget Gaming Laptop?
Has anyone browsing these interwebs dabbled with a custom build laptop? I've been looking for a laptop that suites all of my needs and quite honestly can't find one. I've convinced myself that a custom build would be best but it just doesn't seem like people lean towards doing this.
Thoughts?

I know you can buy laptop RAM and a 2.5in drives but have NO IDEA where you can find a laptop case/screen or motherboard with necessary chips.
Unless you mean a prebuilt custom laptop? In which case yes, totally possible.

Siger (SP?) has some barebones. What are you looking for that you can't find?
