I've been planning on getting a new laptop soon, and I think I am going to go with this one. I've done a lot of research and this seems to be pretty good.
What are your opinions? Thanks!

In my opinion you should get a desktop for 1300 because it would kick ass

Re: Opinions on this Laptop?
I would, but my parents aren't together so I'm constantly going house to house.
I like desktops better because I can clean the inside and repair myself if
something goes wrong.

Not that that is a bad option but you are paying for the ROG tags not exactly all the components. You could find a similar laptop in something that isn't labeled for "gamers" and find it cheaper.

I don't know, my roommate got one of those fancy MSI gaming laptops, and when I saw that rainbow LED keyboard, Irealized that gaming laptops truly are the best.

Puma, I haven't found a laptop with similar components in that price range. It seems like a good price for the stuff that's in it. Could you maybe link me with a laptop that is cheaper but just as good? I just want to get something good and worth it when spending this kind of money.

There are several MSIs and Lenovos on Newegg with similar components for $1000+. I personally really like MSI but ASUS would be a close 2nd. Lenovo seems to have slightly lower ratings but they are slightly cheaper. I think for build quality MSI and ASUS are the best and since it is something you are going to be moving around it is important.Cody wrote:Puma, I haven't found a laptop with similar components in that price range. For $1300 this would be my pick: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834152558
I don't see any cheaper that are 17" only 15.6" and I would for sure go 17" if you can swing the extra $200.

I've heard great things about MSI. I might go with that, or the Asus. I don't know!
