Opinions on this Laptop?

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Opinions on this Laptop?

I've been planning on getting a new laptop soon, and I think I am going to go with this one. I've done a lot of research and this seems to be pretty good.

What are your opinions? Thanks!

In my opinion you should get a desktop for 1300 because it would kick ass

I would, but my parents aren't together so I'm constantly going house to house.
I like desktops better because I can clean the inside and repair myself if
something goes wrong.

Not that that is a bad option but you are paying for the ROG tags not exactly all the components. You could find a similar laptop in something that isn't labeled for "gamers" and find it cheaper.

I don't know, my roommate got one of those fancy MSI gaming laptops, and when I saw that rainbow LED keyboard, Irealized that gaming laptops truly are the best.

Puma, I haven't found a laptop with similar components in that price range. It seems like a good price for the stuff that's in it. Could you maybe link me with a laptop that is cheaper but just as good? I just want to get something good and worth it when spending this kind of money.

There are several MSIs and Lenovos on Newegg with similar components for $1000+. I personally really like MSI but ASUS would be a close 2nd. Lenovo seems to have slightly lower ratings but they are slightly cheaper. I think for build quality MSI and ASUS are the best and since it is something you are going to be moving around it is important.

For $1300 this would be my pick: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834152558

I don't see any cheaper that are 17" only 15.6" and I would for sure go 17" if you can swing the extra $200.

I've heard great things about MSI. I might go with that, or the Asus. I don't know! Thanks for your help!
