PC Wheels

Post by kwic73 »

I'm looking for a wheel for my pc and I'm wondering what to get
1. I want force feedback without a doubt.
2. I want pedals with clutch, break, and gas.
3. I want a shifter, Paddle or Stick it does matter to me
4. I want a good price under $200 would be good
Any Suggestions?

TBH though a Logitech DFGT is a great starter wheel. Just over $100, no clutch tho. Most games have auto-clutch, are you really hung up on the clutch? In all my simracing I've never wanted one...

For under $200 you aren't going to find a good wheel with a pedal set involving a clutch, at least not one you would want to spend your money on.

Yea this is a tough decision. I'm looking to getting into iRacing and the clutch seems like it would add more realism, but with the price of the wheels I think I'm gonna scratch the clutch.

get a second hand g25. clutch is awesomeness x 10000. if you get a g25 you get the sequential shifter on both the wheel and the (rally style) stick shift. Great for rally sims like Richard Burns Rally (best rally sim ever, even though its damn near 6 years old). I've had a g25 for 3 or 4 years now if i remember correctly and its still A1 condition. Only problem i've had with it is that for some reason there was 12 volts running through the gas pedal. It felt all tingly on my foot....

ps. i play iracing, live for speed, rfactor in the past and dick burn rally. Great on all of them.
