This IS amateur SX!
This isn't really Amateur SX, because a lot of pros race it also, we Amateurs need a series again!
If more than 40 people sign up you get grouped with the other amateurs instead of the pros. Quit bitcging and race it

We don't have the time to run two full nights of racing each week, so we set up a system for people to still be able to race an organized supercross event and essentially train for the 'Pro' supercross. I know that "Pros" race the ARS events, but if they didn't, there wouldn't be enough guys for a real supercross schedule!

it might be a turn off for some of the slower riders and that is why they are not racing it i don't know. me personally i am ok racing with the pro guys i do feel like sometimes i am just in the way but how else are you going to get used to racing that pace and getting faster if you are not racing with faster guys. maybe if more riders would race this it would start grouping us but as it is now not enough riders are racing. i have raced it 3 times because that is all the time that i have had to race it and never enough riders to have a second group.

I can honestly tell you that racing AM class was a huge waste of time and wish this would have been around last year instead of AMs. When i first started playing (2012 or 2011) there was like 150 kids trying to qualify for 250 and the same for 450. I remember having so much fun sitting in a server all day with my friend trying to qualify. Granted it never happend i had way more fun than racing with 40 other goons that can not even ride straight. You can either embrace the change and have fun with it, or just shut the fuck up about it. :D

This. And I hope the Pro's don't get mad at lapping me on lap 2 :) I did get kicked out of a heat race at lap two tonight when my game minimized and the Rf page had a oh oh pop up. When I maximized the game again I was lagged out and everything was frozen. Couldn't get back in.

While this is Amatuer SX, it is forcing you to race with pros/much faster people until the system gets going (if I am correct). That may be why some people are not racing. I, for one, like the idea but I am very slow and try to stay out of peoples way when I am being passed. So I feel that racing with the pros, or someone much faster, is not helping but in fact hurting my skills. I think that it will be much better after a little while so that the slower people, like me, will not have to race with pros like byron.

If more ams would show up they would get their own split...I'll advertise it when the ranking system is fully done. Also please protest the punters, it's the only way for us to clean it up and make this series more fun for everyone. I already have 2 guys who will get a harsh ranking penalty and a few month ban starting next week based on the few races I did this week.

I do not understand why amateurs are complaining still. It honestly confuses the hell out of me. Everyone had to put in lots of practice time to even qualify when I first started playing. The joy of the game was to ride with your friends and practice sx or nats. If you guys would spend as much time practicing as you do blaming rF then you would be qualifying consistently. Learn the game like the others before you, because the only series they had was the PRO series to race.

You guys and your loud mouths are the ones who ruin everything for the others that put the time in to be good.

Figuring out why ams still complain is like figuring out how the hell me and Mahan stayed up after locking bars in the rollers before the first triple last night. It was gnar and I think I have the demo. #winning

I didn't even know that was you :D but seriously I just don't understand, I usually only see 5 good pros in an ARS, so if you can't make the main there you won't make it in a regular am race

Yeah I'm enjoying this system. The biggest problem is just people not entering races at the moment. If only 40 riders signing up you're going to be racing with pros. So if you don't want that more people have to participate for the system to actually work as they intended. Anyhow I like it & with time it will be a pretty good racing system.

I think if RF did a few AM events during the sx season that would be pretty fun as well. Just my opinion. maybe like 6 rounds or something.

when someone complains, he is 100% a complainer, and should NOT be counted as the MAJORITY voice for the entire group. "nearly all the old amateurs that dont race pro, still think that rF screwed them", "nearly all".......sounds like majority to me.

the ARS is great, i enjoyed round 1. have not ran round 2 yet because of personal responsibilities such work/school/kids/practicing making more kids with my wife etc. i just hope that when i get time today or tomorrow to race, the ARS hasnt been shut down by the "MAJORITY" of AM complainers. lol silly me, i just realized i was complaining. well, wasnt intended to be a complaint.

how about this, track creators dont want to share credit with people who did not help create the track, right? well, dont credit non-complaining AM's because that original complainer worked really hard on his complaint and it just wouldnt be right to share it with the "majority".

I wouldn't mind racing with the pros, but I don't think they would want me on the track with them yet!

Easy answer: just race, who cares
The only way this thing is going to work properly is if people just show up and race, no matter who they're racing. If your slow (and I'm slow) just race your race and hold your line out of the racing line when getting lapped. We're all just gonna have to accept, that for this thing to work, we are going to have to ride with a variance of skill levels in the beginning. It is what it is until the attendance gets up there. The important thing to remember is it is YOU who can make a difference. Show up to help this thing have a shot at working. Nothing has a chance to show its true potential unless it is given the legs to reach its goal.
