I personally have been waiting for you guys to charge us to race. I personally don't think its a bad idea. Do like $5 to try and qualify for one round, or pay $25 to do the whole series. I would pay, because you guys do put a lot of hard work into this series/company, and aren't making anything from it.checkerz wrote:I don't think it is going to be a bad thing. If you're good enough to get in, you'll be fine. And it's a chance for the really good guys to potentially make some money for their talents. Yes, it is just Jesse running laps right now, but in the future we could bring other guys who are always fast onto the "staff" to help run laps if there is enough demand. The the little bit of the fee that the rF guys get, well it is about time we get something for running all of these events. Modelers and skinners have been selling their stuff forever, why can't we sell our events to make money for the hosting and track building time?

How much is the team member discount?

I agree, even a $10 fee to run a full series would be something I think most people could put down and you could really get some support behind RF.Dunivant25 wrote:I personally have been waiting for you guys to charge us to race. I used this service in SX when it was still in testing, and I can say it works extremely well. I wouldn't mind an upped price either.

well damn, I like the offer. the prices look fair, the quality is there for sure......the only issue I have with this is if I were to purchase a pass then I couldn't justify complaining to myself about not dedicating more time to the game to get better.....for some reason I have plenty of time to invest, but id rather settle for complaining about not doing so...I have decided not to partake in this offer so that I can complain about not doing so in the future.

Re: INTRODUCING LOTSaLAPSinc! 100% Guaranteed Qualified!
Based on some feedback, starting at High Point when qualifying closes we will be releasing a list of those who purchased the service. I guess people want to know who is legitimate and who is not. This will not be in effect for Muddy Creek since players purchased qualifying with the understanding their name wouldn't be released. We are debating an additional "privacy" fee that you can pay to not be on the list, but that is not for sure yet.
Also, this is only for the rF series and has nothing to do with EMF as of right now. We don't have approval from EMF to provide the service and don't want to risk any bans. The way this is taking off it is something we will likely approach the EMF guys with soon after we get the first couple of rounds done and get the bugs worked out.

I would easily pay $20 for a license to race rF, per series. Bring back prizes, prize money, and pay the content creators.

Because lets go back to Rd. 1 of Nationals for 250 Class. 163 People put in a time. $20-$25 a rider for the License to race the Series would make about $3,260-$4,075.
That's easily enough to help you guys out, and that's not even including the 450 Class.

Re: INTRODUCING LOTSaLAPSinc! 100% Guaranteed Qualified!
Realistically I only see about 40-50 (if that) people spending money to race rF competitively. I think it would be good though, enough to make it worth it to the race organizers and enough to pay for prizes and awards.Dunivant25 wrote:^^ That.AWood wrote:I would easily pay $20 for a license to race rF, per series. sounds like a way for keys to get stolen...
Re: INTRODUCING LOTSaLAPSinc! 100% Guaranteed Qualified!
I have no problem with paying an entry fee that allows me to enter and try to qualify for rF series races using my own abilities. Thats not what is being proposed in this thread though.Dunivant25 wrote:^^ That.AWood wrote:I would easily pay $20 for a license to race rF, per series. But now my qualifying time will not be close to my race pace. Can I also pay to have you race both moto's?
Re: INTRODUCING LOTSaLAPSinc! 100% Guaranteed Qualified!
rF has entrusted Jesse with this job, they wouldn't do that if they would think he'd take people's registration keys.beast 519 wrote:sounds like a way for keys to get stolen...
