Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
To whom it may concern, there are a couple things id like to point out about the track that i feel could be improved for rounds going further. I want to start off by saying this is in NO way a complaint, or bitching, just simply my $.02 and a small change that would make a great track even better in my book!
So the small issue i have is that in some of the ruts, the shading misrepresents the actual location of the rut, and/or extends long before or after the actual rut itself. Sorry for all the photos, but i wanted to try to show what im talking about as best as possible.
Here for instance you can see that the shadows of all four ruts are all in different positions in relationship to the rut itself, some are heavily shaded far inside the rut, others more towards the outside.

Another example would be how jagged, and unpredictable the shading is on the ruts in these corners, some are right in the middle of the rut, others have extremely dark shading where there is no rut at all entering the corner.

Now on the other hand, just for reference, here is a great set of ruts where i feel like the shading is really well done, smoothly blended, and accurately positioned.

Though it might sound like I'm just being picky, for someone who rides in first person especially, these details do matter as the only input you get to determine line choice etc. is visual, as opposed to the feel of the track you would actually get in real life.
Again, want to emphasize that this isnt a complaint, but just a suggestion to make things even better!

I would agree, but i run my graphics so low that i can barely see the shape of the rut, so i dont think that problem applies to me

probably the worst track to ever be released on rf you can fit about 2 bikes around the track racing with 40 am's is going to be complete chaos(more so than usual)

You're wrong maggett, but it was a good try. I've already seen 3 and 4 bikes wide on the majority of the track. Yes, there are parts of the track that are narrow, but that's how the track was in real life, for those of us that haven't seen the race yet, which apparently is quite a few of us
