I just want a rule so it doesn't happen again to me or another with no legitimate rule behind it.

Or you can go back to taking screenshots, the only thing you're good for, for this community.

I'm curious if there was a server admin watching the race/chat. It's very possible that whoever that was missed it and that is why the restart didn't happen. I think that if there was an admin present in the server to notice stuff like this then it would have been red flagged and none of this would have happened.

Why would they put a rule in for you when you're being this disrespectful to the community and the rF staff? If you want them to respect your wishes, you have to show at least an ounce of respect for someone, especially the people who have the vote in whether to put the rule in or not

If your game continues to crash, you can add to those 401+ hours of CS:GO. So productive.

I was back in the server before lap 1 was even finished from all the racers AND Nick Uzick said something the second Dunivant (I believe was the one that hit me, I cant tell because it crashed my game so quickly... will upload Demo once I get it from someone) crashed my game halfway through the first lap.

This is the only rule I found somewhat related BUT I have no control of someone crashing my game? So what action is taken here? When both RF and I cant control this.

We really need some type of rule for this so it doesnt happen in the future again or to another racer.
Wilcox,

I didn't see the incident, nor did I see chat immediately after. I didn't realize anything had happened until someone said you had disconnected half way through the main.

However, even if I did see it, I would not have red flagged the race. I red flag races when the wrong guys get put in, the server poops out on EVERYONE, etc. I can't red flag races when someone's game crashes, they lag/time out, etc, as those thing are out of our control. In fact, I don't see how this situation DOESN'T meet that rule you posted. Obviously it sucks, but there is nothing I can do when your game crashes, regardless of the cause.

The way I see it, when Dunivant hit you, your handlebars broke off. Would the AMA red flag a race if Dungey's handlebars broke, regardless of the lap?

Bars falling off is a still considered a bike malfunction. As rude as it sounds, you guys don't want to admit there is no rule that supports a game crash from the game itself and the track. The only rule there is one that keeps you guys safe under scenario you can't control. I can't control the track or why the game has that bug where it crashes your game. No where on my end it would be my fault. As dickish as I sound lately, I'm not mad at what happened, I'm more mad that the rule isn't specific at all. I talked to Dunivant right after and he thought I would be mad, and I told him specifically not to worry I just wish there is a rule for this case.

I understand where you're coming from, but NO where on my end this would be my fault. It's a clear bug with the game and the track. I didn't know you can break bars in this game, that would be a bug too.

If you would like to talk more about this discussion, we can meet up in a teamspeak so we can discuss incase this happens again in the future.

It's like saying if the finish line poles fell in real life on a rider and crashes him, that's not a red flag. But yes, it would be. Because that rider just crashed not from another rider or the people hosting.

Another example is if there was a huge ass hole under a landing and when a rider landed and sunk 5 feet under the ground and is stuck and nothing to do, there would be a red flag.

Message me if you want to talk more about this, I can meet you in a TS or give you mine

It's only game why you heff to be, a whiny a bitch about it. Get a life go outside. I can say 90% of us here would not only get over it, BUT drop it after you have seen nothing is going to change. Form a cult or a riders union, WE DO NOT CARE!

Neither of your situations are similar to the one you experienced, though. In both situations there is potential danger toward the other racers. In your case, you were the only one that could be affected after your game crashed. I have no idea what happened or how/why it did, but I believe I read that your game crashed after being hit and going through a whoop. That's not a problem with the track specifically, so it's not rF's fault. It's possible that jlv can try to make the game less likely to crash in such a situation, but it's still a game and it will never be perfect.

Very understandable. This is why there should be a rule for a case like this where it was out of control on both of our sides.
