Hangtown was a special case. The only reason it came out to the public when I did was because not all the bugs of the "track limiting system," had been worked out.

Anything that is a .saf file can be placed in any folder inside your personal folder without issue. Tracks/skins that are not .saf will not work properly if placed in a folder.DBRider251 wrote:Someone please explain how to do this, I need this so badlyEzra wrote:Wait, you can nest folders in your personal folder, have i been missing this the whole time???????aeffertz wrote:When I race rF, I take my "other teams" skin folder out of my personal folder so I don't time out.

You can put a .saf in a folder but you can't put a folder in a folder

Glen Helen was the first time I had a problem loading in (and timing out) of a race. I had the Medium V2 Object Pack +20 GB of tracks in my personal folder. Do you think that eliminating the 20 GB worth of tracks that I'll never ride out of my personal folder and using the Low Object Pack on the nationals would allow me to download people's skins? (I don't go crazy on skins and download every team on the game, but I download the main teams)
Normally this isn't an issue, but I just really don't want it to happen again this year. My computer isn't terrible though where I need to eliminate the replacement pack and have 0 skins in the game, I just don't know if it's because I had too many skins or my personal folder had too much junk in it, or if it was the track itself because I probably had more skins at Hangtown than I did at Glen Helen and I didn't take forever loading in there.

I had FPS problems at Glen Helen, im pretty sure it could be caused by the elevations...?? or maybe had your graphics to high?Ddavis wrote:Glen Helen was the first time I had a problem loading in (and timing out) of a race. Same, I thought it something with people's packs but I don't have many downloaded. I had everything low for the track DL's and this was my in game graphics settings

I was getting 20-40fps WITH VSync... Pretty lame hopefully this won't be a problem for the rest of the tracks.
