the forums should be shut down for 24 hours after a rf race. No one is even going to give it shit about most of this come tomorrow.

They put up the RED FLAG before lap 1 was finished.

ok so get this

in sx Brett Mclaud was the points leader and was locked out of the server without rF even warning them about it if it happened, and quite a few others were no in the race either, after yelling in the livestream (what do you know, they had the chat muted) they found out in the first lap or 2, they did not restart and told everyone tough luck

now we have a normal rF player who had his laptop turn off (his own damn fault) and guess what, we restart most of the way through a national lap and they restart like its there damn job

thats what really pisses me off

/endrant (for now)

Congrats to Crain! Leading the points now woop!

But yeah I'll take full responsibility for that restart situation. The reason that on the Crain thing I didn't restart at Washougal was because by the time I realized what had happened Crain was IN THE TOP 10. Otherwise I would have red flagged it on the spot. I know how much it sucks for things to happen and then a restart not to happen so I like to do something about it if I can and we did happen to put the red flag up before the end of Lap 1 which several people abided by and understood. I think DDavis' reason for timing out is kinda mind boggling but I couldn't make a judgement call on the spot like that.

Nonetheless streaming and running the event is tough to do and if Byron never texted me and told me Davis missed the start then Davis would be upset I didn't restart. I guess either way you spin it it's a lose lose and I'm sorry to the people it messed up but it's far from the first red flag rF has had. Again I'm super sorry about it and I wish it could have gone differently but what's done is done.

See you at AMs on Thursday boys.

by them you mean me for tonight... was my call nobody else's...

I feel bad about the Mclaud SX situation but that wasn't my doing and if I was running that race and caught it I would have restarted... I wasn't running that race though... I was running this race and what'd ya know I caught it BEFORE lap 1 was complete and did something about it...

We as rF are not perfect and I'm not claiming any call was the right call so I'm sorry once again for those who were caught out

All good things must come to an end. Maybe in a few weeks that will unfortunately be the case for rF.

Kellen, thanks for stepping up big time and doing a many times thankless job. Judgement calls are tough and I know you do your best to do it as fair as possible.

To anyone being a moron. I hope the book gets thrown at you and you never race an organized event again.

They need an asshole to enforce the rules. Unfortunately being an asshole nets no enjoyment from running the races and enforcing the many needless rules. And if you try to play the game after having to be that asshole everyone treats you like an asshole still. It's a lose lose situation.

As unfortunate as it is, it's that or a free for all.

Unfortunately I've wasted a LOT of hours playing this game, but I've had the privilege of racing MX Simulator in it's prime back when Sween and Wheels hosted everything 100% committed. Don't get me wrong Kellen does an excellent job, but it's not the same.

Protest was sent in for one idiot. Thanks for being awesome and actually Red Flagging. Kellen for president.

Chex, im still up for offers to run/patrol/help and could potentially help stop rF coming to an end. nobody ever calls on me so it must be fine though.
