On a 450 I usually start in 1st gear (or 2nd depending on gearing/traction) keep it revved around 8-9 until the gate drops then pin it and drop the clutch.

Or I guess I should say drop the clutch then pin it.

This.

I think the timing when you release the sit/dab button and lean back is crucial for a good start, you need to get a small wheelie but still not loop out. Also I usually hump backwards a little when shifting up to keep a slight wheelie up through the whole start.

On moto 1 my start was not bad, I was inside top 10, but someone hit me in the back and I went down. On Moto 2 I was like 4th on the 1st corner, but some idiot tried to overtake me without having any space or waiting, and that dumb move caused me to crash. I was able to recover some positions and I was inside top 10 at the end of the 1st lap..

The lappers were horrible.

I never use sit dab on the starts, though. When using the clutch before a start, do you guys pin it , or just rev it around 8-9 like yzmxer says?
I pin it lol

I read page 96, then skipped to here because I don't want to read any more crap. Basically I can't do ANYTHING for rF until mid to late September (offseason) (including shipping out SX prizes). Then I'll take a look at what has been going on.

1) I don't trust a single person in this community to enforce rules without being biased.

2) Protests will be looked at and taken into account for future races when I get a chance (or someone else).

3) I like judgement calls better than rulebooks and guidelines and everything (have you guys ever tried to plan out or write out something that monumental before? Try it....it sucks and is never done/perfect). If next years happens the rulebook will be one page that reads, Use common sense and don't piss off Sween.

4) Fuck all of you, you get to race a Replica National Series every week on a badass game, and it is 100% your choice to race! Quit being a bunch of pussy attention seekers threatening to quit and never doing it. Quit racing rF or shut the fuck up and have fun. Racing rF is a choice you make, and complaining about it 24/7 makes you look like a pile of shit, not to mention 99.9% of the complainers end up or already are the problem racers in rF.
