I think the old Thunder Valley suits good for the ama series. Since of tracks with pure roughness and sometimes oversized pumps we can race on another style of track. Seems that there will be good battles on this "wide open" track!

Kind of a bummer this race never materialized. After all the weeks of hard work from everyone and then Thunder Valley to have a old track is a little dissapointing. I couldd have made a quick version similar to Freestone's style also. Tons of free time last week. Haha

For sure. Austin's version is really solid, just a bit further along than Budds was when you passed it along, and the effort to go into finishing it was hopeful, but after the scramble to finish up Budds, and life getting in the way, the whole vent crew was pretty drained and not able to make it happen. Thunder Valley will at some point get finished I'm sure, and when it does, it'll be a top notch track, just like the rest of the newer replicas.

shame it could not be finish in time, it was the track i was expecting the most, it looks so awesome, but it s good to hear that it could be finish at some time! maybe make a super final on this track if it ll be finish by this time, or when there is a free week in the ama calendar...?

good race today everyone.
I am F'n devastated with moto 2 i got good start, was sitting in 5th with bout 20 sec buffer just relaxed and cruising. Then friken good old java update wanted to say hello.
Minimized my screen, keyboard and mouse were not within arms reach. finally got it back up and way still 5th but because this happened going into turn 1 after the main straight, i must have hit the banners and somehow ended up on the other part of the track after the corner after the step up. i was disorientated so i kept riding and i seen that my positions just started dropping and realized what had hapend. Had to go through 2 track barriers and cut all the way back to the main straight to get back where i should have been putting me in 14th i think. Spewing was gonna be my best ride. Aww well ppl say it just a game but you invest allot of emotional effort into these moto's.

Also sorry for the leader, For some reason blue flags were not popping up this time, and i was watching the green dot come around on the map. Then i had a moment and so did the bloke infront of me and i swear the leader past us. i was looking and the green dot was no where around me. So i charged on to find that half a lap later the green dot right behind me. He must have been right behind me so close i couldnt see the green dot under my dot hope i didnt hold you up too much!

Yeah the timing gates are bad on this track. First moto when I was lapped by Shack I knew he was coming, I moved over at the right time but the blue flag finally showed like a second before he got by me . That's another reason to change the red arrow to a red dot, the thing covers a lot of space around you.

They have an off week, Red Bud is on the second so I don't imagine it'll be up until next week. If they do put it up now I think it'd be too early and everyone would be sick of the track by race day.
