No more teams bro. That was announced months ago. Funny because you were crying for announcements earlier but didn't even read what was announced so far.

Now that I read the announcement I can elaborate on the automated racing. It's basically iRacing but for MX Sim. The Sunday night series is the "world championship" and then Monday to Wednesday you have automated races where you are grouped by "rF Rating." By automated I mean heats, semis, LCQs and a main all ran off the website. So if 160 people sign up on the website just before the race there will be 4 splits running at the same time. And then there will be points awarded and all that good stuff. No sure how they'll spread the points out though. Use SOF as a multiplyer? Then sort people into divisions to see how you stack up against similar players.

It all sounds pretty amazing to me. Has me a little bit excited to play MX sim, and that's saying a lot.

I haven't played sim in weeks but I'd jam out if thats the setup. I'm not even mad about not getting a Pro, its easier to not get the reward than to get an award you don't deserve.

For once I am happy to say that everything looks great! The switch from Jlv tracks to Checkerz tracks will play in favor of the better riders in my opinion, although I felt really fast on Jlv's coming into 2014. The pro licenses look great, and I'm pumped to get one! There will be a LOT of sign ups, my question for qualifying is, will you enter a server and be in warm up, then it will automatically rotate riders until you're in? My biggest question is what if you go into qualifying and have to disconnect right away, is that a qualifying opportunity wasted that you can't get back? Or is it first 20 laps raced (aka should just be first two races).

ALSO

Will there be a no-bullshit policy for qualifying, as in if you purposely go in and take someone out while they're on a hot lap, the person that took the person out can get disqualified from the event/if it's a weekly thing kicked from the series? This was talked about in teamspeak about people taking others out with limited qualifying once they get their lap in. And once you are done with your one qualifying attempt, will you be forced into collisions disabled mode?

Qualifying will be ruled by a rulebook, and you will have run 1 lap or something for the race to count towards you, and you will be banned from the server after your attempt, and chat will be permanently muted.

So will you have to do your 2 races back to back or can you leave the server and come back a little later for your 2nd attempt?

I think I read there will be 2 qual servers damon. You run 1 race in each server.

So with the new formats there are semis for the 450's but not for the 250s? And if so would the schedule now start off with 450 heat, then 250 heats, then 450 semis, 250 lcq, 450lcq, then the mains?

How will it make sure everybody gets 2 10 lap motos within an hour? Will warm-up laps count or will there be a munch of different servers with moderators rotating everybody? Because we all know that people like to sit for 3 hours after a race without restarting just killing time. Sorry, but im still confused on how this will work...

With the way Wheels does stuff, I wouldn't question how it works, I'd just bank on it working.

Where are you young einsteins getting this one hour or back to back time limit from? The announcement says qualifying will close 1 hour before the race which has been standard for years. That's the only mention of one hour in the announcement.

That's what it seemed like to me when I read it. Sounds pretty sick.
