I have literally never heard of anyone saying this. Almost every outdoor track requires different suspension to go fast. Whoever is telling you don't touch your suspension should be fucking slapped
So for some constructive criticism.
1st: I feel the track is very gray compared to last year. Last year's was so bright and colorful. This track looks as it is a rainy/cloudy day.
2nd: Ruts. I can't see most of them. I don't know if it intentional because of the shading from the trees but for me i can't see hardly any of the ruts.
Other small things like some of the breaking bumps just kick you super hard. Like the ant hill before the first left after the starting line. There is a huge kicker there and idk why. Traction is alright i don't think it is the same as last year but it doesn't feel like it and i liked last years better.
Overall I like millville but just minor things that i don't like. 7.5/10 track
Putting the track terrain aside, the thing that I don't get with this round is the inability to see all the little bumps and ruts in some places. I don't have a super computer, but I typically run the high pack with decent in-game settings just fine, which allows me to see some of the finer variations in the ground surface. The odd thing about this round is that it's actually harder for me to see those spots with shader programs on. So essentially, I feel like I'm having to turn off a setting which exists to increase graphics quality in order to actually get better clarity in ground variation, which seems really counter-intuitive to me. I don't doubt you guys ability to create and apply great looking on-track decals, but for a track like this, I feel like seeing all of the minute bumps and ruts is hugely important - so it's just a bit of a bummer that I have to turn off an ability of my computer designed to create higher quality graphics to actually get higher quality.
Disclaimer: I very well may just be an idiot and have a backwards understanding of how shader programs work in mxs, in which case forget everything I've said and just call me a dumbass

Well damn I must have been doing it all wrong last year when I had the same suspension on every track......but carry on hahaha
Me: "Hoffman your line choice sucks..."
Hoffman: "Bro, you act like my lines are choices!"

I haven't touched my suspension since the midpoint of SX... Ran the same suspension throughout the rest of SX and all of MX, and its treating me alright...But slap me if you want I guess...
This track would probably be way funner if I had never played last years track that was much better I miss good traction and rutsand who decided it was a good idea to make ruts that dissapear in the middle then start again...
