Okay.... I have 2 big problems with the series already...
(1) it's call Amateur! Why are you letting Pros race?? If they have scored ANY Pro points at all they should not be allowed. They knew the rules.
(2) Why did you put 15 riders in H1 and 20 in H2?

I don't control how many people get put into heats. Also for everyone complaining about Peavy he does not count in points what so ever.

ill point out a few problems about most amateurs.
1. Amateurs tend to worry about everything else that they can think of then focus on the race. (Fun Fact: focus on your race and not anything else and you might do better... wow it really is that simple. lol)

2. Relating to the last one, no Pros should not be allowed in amateur races that goes for anyone but since peavy seems like the guy to be bitched at tonight then peavy will be my example. Peavy hasn't won an amateur race to my knowledge, he has never rode a 450, and he didn't even win, also there were guys in the race that were running faster lap times then peavy could hit.

Basically the entire time i was in teamspeak all i heard about was the guys bitching about peavy being in a race and it really is as simple as not worrying about who is in the race but just focusing on your race and using your head and staying on the bike and as crazy as it sounds you might do better.

He has a team to practice on the 450 with right? I'm not here to argue I'm just saying. This is an ams series and of course the top two was gone by 43 seconds is crazy! So we need to worry about our own race? Funny, we would if we didn't have pros in there to ruin it for us ams. Nothing against the pros, I wish I was that fast but come on now... It's stated as a "AMS" series.

Well, I do understand you wanting to see how you did on a 450, though not sure you can gauge it much by racing ams. And I think a lot of guys had a problem with it because they specifically did not race Pro because if they made a main then they could not race Am. And weather he or other Pros got points or not, them racing DID effect points for those who are in the series. And Conner just took the heat cause he has a recognizable name 8). Either way, pumped on the series and appreciate those putting it on!

This argument is mute as Byron beat Mullins (?) last year at Arlington with a ridiculous time between the two and lapped everyone except him. Same thing happened with Tysen winning and Vanderlee getting second at 2013 Seattle. I agree that he shouldn't be able to race, but he isn't in the points, so what's the deal?

ill go back to 2013 ams when it was official and we had ryan mahan and clay alfrey racing 250 ams and basically going 1-2 for every single race that they participated in and they were running pro times every week they could have easily qualified for pro races and i dont remember hearing many people complain, people respected them for being fast. Also Cole Heberlein was also another am that was extremely fast in ams, you guys complain every time there is a little competition in the race. The way it seems to me is "hey this guy won hes a sandbagger move him up to pro" or "hes raced a pro event hes a pro why is he racing ams" peavy has barely qualified or done good in any pro main and it takes time to get used to bigger bikes, but obviously peavy is an Amateur for 450's. He didn't sandbag at all, sandbagging to me is if he would have got in there and lapped all the way up to 2nd place and given nobody else a shot at winning and trust me we have had a few of those in the ams series. Funny, that you sign up for an AM event and go into the server and wait to see someone connect thats been in a pro main so you can bitch in the chat about it for the next 24 hours and you lose focus on your race which is why you do bad, i guarantee you if he came in with a different name and ran completely different stuff you wouldn't know the difference at all.

Nobody is complaining about fast guys racing Ams... People are complaint because many of them did not try to race Pro so they could race Am. So the rules should be followed. Pro points = no Am.

But that's the issue, I've only scored one point and it was by chance that I beat two people. I don't consider myself a pro and just because I lucked into a 20th place finish shouldn't mean that I am.

Peavy tried to race pros for 250's and he was going to try 450's but he didn't qualify so Amateurs was the next thing to try.

That I understand! I would think that should be acceptable, though who knows where that argument could end. Maybe those hosting the series will come up with their own limitations to what is allowed. But whatever the rules are, they should stick, so these problems don't compound.
