ok,so we gonna have a,b,c classes
now i got some suggestions,because i can't find any rules or info in the wmsa threads regarding changing classes. i'm sure once racing gets underway you're gonna see that some riders should change class from that determined in qualifying,and it'd be good if some system was worked out so points could be carried over to a new class,so everyone knows how it works,before we go racing.

i'm just thinking aloud here,locust,lierop and washougal,the first 3 rounds in the series are like chalk and cheese,so after those 3 rounds you could fix the class for riders for the rest of the season. what we need is an overall scoring system for these 3 rounds where the points gained can be carried over to your fixed class for the rest of the season.
so the first 3 rounds you race in your qualifying class but get awarded points for your position overall regardless of class,after the 3rd round your class for the season is then fixed according to your ranking and the points you got from these 3 rounds is kept,and then you go to a normal class scoring system for the rest of the season.

for example;

1st 3 rounds overall 1st 25, 2nd 24.5,3rd 24,4th 23.5,5th 23,6th 22.5,7th 22,8th 21.5,9th 21,10th 20.5,11th 20,12th 19.5,13th 19,14th 18.5,15th 18,and so on down to 49th 1 and 50th 0.5 point.

4th round onwards class 1st 25, 2nd 20, 3rd 16, 4th 14,5th 12, 6th 10, 7th 9, 8th 8, 9th 7, so on down to 15th 1point

just a suggestion

thats way to difficult and thats pretty much what we did last year except if they won by a large margin they just got moved up
same things just way easier

Its really hard to get a balanced field, some tracks are better for some people and not so good for others, If you are a C rider and you get in the top 7 or so of B class, expect a bump same for B to A. As for points, you will just keep the points you earned in the previous class and they will just carry over.

Sounds fair enough to me. I hope to see you B-Classers on the track :P

I think I'm going to do rather well at this round, actually. I started out utterly hating Locust but now I'm enjoying it quite a lot, and my better lap-times are moving into the mid 1:20 territory. That said, my lesser laps are still registering over 2:00 so consitency is something that should be worked on. :roll:

I'm curious what my fellow C-Class riders are getting. I'm putting out laps in the 1:28 - 1:32 area, I don't know if that's horrific or spectacular...
