Conclusion
MotoOption/Race Tech Yamaha's outdoor specialist Pinned looked to have been the upset of the series as he lead the first 13 laps of the grueling Daytona Supercross with ease, and after some late race mistakes, got back into his groove and even challenged the questionably unstoppable force we call Tysen. When all was said and done, Pinned finished .7 tenths behind BARRY Honda's Tysen. Tysen wasn't the fastest in Daytona though, nor was Pinned, your 2011 MXS Outdoor National Champion Jones was! Pulling off an incredible 1:14.289, nearly half a second quicker than points leader and race winner Tysen. Motorsport Honda's Juan had a rough go, after a convincing heat race win he was fast in the main event but could only manage a 15th place finish. 2011 Daytona SX winner, Taylor Barry, also had a rough go in the main, finishing 17th. Hats off to Brazilian rider DuDu pulling off a top 5 in the main using consistent lap times. MotoOption/RaceTech Yamaha hot shot Mikey was never able to pull off a top 5 in the premier class on his underpowered 250f, so a big pat on the back to Motorsport Honda's rider. This will be a big confidence booster when the season heads back West in April, as he sits 36 points back in the points. It's a long shot, but anything is possible on MXS (Jeremy's power going out in Dallas). Speaking of Jeremy, the Motorsport Honda title hopeful could only manage 16th as he pulled off the 5th quickest lap of the main event. Don't know what happened to him but he had a rough heat race along with the main event, he now sits 41 points behind the Utah native Tysen. Last weeks winner Shack, looked to be having suspension issues, as he finished back in 8th place. Frederick got his 1st podium of the year after starting the first lap in 12th. He now sits 12th in points, 20 behind Markham, who did not race. I'm guessing Markham couldn't race, due to work, which is a shame because he's always a force when he's out there. Fjeldberg had a strong 2nd in the heat race on his 250f, but his Mom is in a coma, so it is very understandable if he missed the main due to his Mothers health.

What to expect in Indy
I think the obvious question here is, can anyone stop Tysen!? I hate to say it's over, but he wants this championship so bad and his confidence is through the roof. Secondly, where was Siemenlinko!? I didn't mention him in the conclusion, but he failed to show up for Daytona! What happened? Nobody knows, will he be back next week? Nobody knows! The Pourcel of MXS, maybe? Can Jeremy get back into his early season groove, or can Shack get back on pace on a traditional supercross track. Will someone get their first win of the season next week? Particularly Jones, Brina, or Hegge? We'll have to wait and see. Until then, enjoy Daytona SX this Saturday and get on the gas as qualifying starts for Indy Monday night.

Conclusion
Who is Rica!? Rumors are saying it's Siemenlinko, but nobody knows. Whoever he was, rode amazing en route to winning the main event over title contenders Phathry and McNeil. Evans, by the way, had the fastest lap time of the main event by far but finished way back in 15th. T.Crain followed him up with a 1:18.1, but could only finish in 4th place. Phathry holds down a solid 12 point lead in the points now over T.Crain after once again proving he is the fastest and most consistent lites rider on the East region championship. Peter broke the top 10 for the first time this year with a 6th, good job to him. The championship may be long gone for him though, along with BARRY Honda's only East coast hopeful, Cody Darr, who finished 9th. Yzmxer806 showed great speed on his 125, but may have been a little underpowered in the main event, finishing 8th. Next up there's me, who is very bummed on tonight. I had the 11th quickest lap time but finished way back in 16th.

Expect the unexpected! Will Rica return? Will Phathry continue to build his points lead? Will I avoid Ryan345?
