Welcome to the 2014 MX Sim Cup, hosted by RaceFactoryGaming with help from FlowTech Racing!

The 2014 MX Sim Cup has done some relocating this year, and will take place in the city of Lille, France. The race is only two days away, so pack your cheese and crepes and hop on the next flight to France! All information you need to know is below.

Classes/Eligibility
This event will feature three classes. IF YOU SIGN UP FOR A CLASS YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR, YOU WILL NOT RACE.
If you want to know if you're eligible to race a class, please send me a PM and I will let you know.
  • The Open Pro Class is for the top riders in MX Simulator. You must have a 2015 rF national number or pre-existing career number for this class. You are also eligible if you qualified for a 450SX Main Event in 2014 MotoOption Supercross or raced a main event in the King of SX Class in the 2014 FAMmx Fall Cup, as long as it wasn't by winning amateurs. Any bike size is allowed.
  • The 250f Open Class is for any pros who don't feel ready to race the Open Pro class and for any amateurs who would like a little extra challenge. Only 250f machines are allowed in this class. No riders holding a new 2015 rF career number, single-digit rF career number, or 250 class championship in rF can race the 250f Open Class.
  • The Open Amateur Class is for amateur racers looking to test the waters on a short, technical track. Any bike size is allowed. If you raced a pro main event during the 2014 SX Series or 2014 FAMmx Fall Cup, you cannot race the amateur class.
Rules
  • All normal RaceFactoryGaming rules apply to this event. I (Byron Downen) will be hosting myself, and if I see somebody acting out of line, the ban hammer will fall.
  • NO LATE ADDITIONS. I repeat, NO LATE ADDITIONS. If you miss UID grab, too bad so sad. Better luck in SX.
  • Did I mention, NO LATE ADDITIONS?
Format
  • All three classes will run one hour of timed qualifying immediately before the race begins.
  • Each class will take the top 18 fast laps directly to the main events and run a 22-rider LCQ for the last 4 transfer spots..
  • This event will be scored as an overall finish, not a heat race/main event format.
  • The Open Pro Class will run three 15 lap main events, while the 250F Open Class will run two 12-lap main events, and the Open Amateur class will run two 10-lap main events.
  • The top 10 in each Final Moto will advance to a 30-rider, 7-lap Dash for Cash. (No real cash is involved, sorry guys).

Is there a way to make it suitable for the euros too? If it's rF time, at least make it a Friday or something.

Just putting this out there for discussion...
What do you guys think of running a 3-class format? Run the Open Pro class (Only people who have scored rF points can race), a 250f Open class (Equal to Amateur All-Stars IRL, anybody pro or am can enter on a 250F), and a 125 class (Amateurs only, equal to Supermini IRL). That way more people can race, and I'm gonna try to build my SX triple so it's good to get wicked nasty on for the whip contest.

Sounds awesome but with the Open Pro class would there be any chance the rule could change?

I could possibly make the Open class for anybody but seed qualifiers so people scoring rF points ride with each other and the rookies ride with each other and whatnot.

Ok sounds good, well I've not raced RF races but my best time on the current 2014 Monster Cup (Updated) is a 1:13 if I remember. I haven't done RF races due to the time difference in the past...

The track will NOT be the monster cup track that was released, just to clear that up. But it will be Winter-Indoor style qualifying so you'll need to learn the track quick and be able to throw down.
