The edgesplitting is pretty bad. For example, on the visor in the first picture, there is a random hard edge above the bolt. Also, on the back of the helmet (in the 2nd picture), the vent piece has some weird hard edges.
Try selecting the edges in blender, and do Ctrl+e > mark sharp. Then use edgesplit, and make sure to click the "From Marked As Sharp" button.

I'm thinking the TLD SE3 at the minute. Could do with some better images than the net has to offer though. If anyone on here owns one and could post a few side/top/rear/front pics up I'd happily model it and release it to the community.
