Spec map/normal map etc.

Hello,

I wanted to ask, how to put spec map / normal map to a gear, i have made gear, but i have no idea how to add that shine , please help .

If you want your gear to be shiny,make your spec map lighter (correct me if im wrong)

For the normals, make a height map and run it through the NVIDIA Photoshop plugin. Name it rider_body-modelname-skinname_norm.png.

For the spec, lighter areas are shinier. Name it rider_body-modelname-skinname_spec.png.
