Re: Upcoming Models #2

Bell Moto 8 with Oakley Proven Goggles. About 4 hours into it.
1) Should I model the nose guard, or do you think it can be mapped on nicely?
2) Should i subdivide it, seeing as it's only 581 polys? After subdivision, it'll be ~2100 polys before cleanup, but it will be really smooth all around.
3) Is there anything that doesn't look right?
I will unwrap it after these questions are answered. After that, I'll give it to whoever wants it.
Re: Upcoming Models #2
1. I would model the nose guard, so it is just like the other helmets.
2. Put more detail into the visor like the picture i attached below.
3. i think it would look better with the front chin piece modeled like the picture.
4. make the cheek pads more prominent ( maybe because we cant see from the picture you provided)
5. make certain areas curved like the picture.
5. All of the vents can be made by using maps.
6. I would subdivide it to make it look super smooth. Although then it may be too high poly. :/
Should look great when it is finished.

Re: Upcoming Models #2
The visor looks weird. Too round, and the shape at the back of it is all wrong. IDK if you planned on making the contours via alpha map, but it's missing a lot in that picture.TimFerry15 wrote:3) Is there anything that doesn't look right?
