Thanks for the picture and criticism. I'll redo the visor, and make the nose guard.

Ohhh, double post.

694 polys now. I remade the visor, and modeled the nose guard. Also, when i was doing this just now, I lost that vent piece on the back of the helmet, so I had to remake it. So it might look different, and on the left side picture, you can't really see the top part of it, but that's just because of the lighting.

Anything else that needs to be done?

One thing i would do is make the rubber nose piece thing mroe prominent like the circled bit on the picture below. ( so it sticks out a bit further at the top.)
other then that it looks ready to go. Looks much better now with those adjustments.

Thanks for pointing that out. I just fixed it. I changed the spacing of the parts around that area too, so it's more exact.

Also, I forgot to mention that I made the cheek pads thicker in the last update.

Should i make the visor bolts? And again, anything else that doesn't look right, please point it out, thanks guys.

I think the bolts can be done with maps, as can vents and such.

What are you going to do about a face? Which goggles will be on it? Generics, I assume?

You can kinda of see the face in that picture. It's the whole face, a nose, and the bottom of the head (to attach to the neck of the rider model).

Okay, thanks for that.

I have it all unwrapped, it's kind of a weird layout, but i think it will be good once you get used to it. You don't need to get frustrated lining up the top of the helmet shell, because it's all one piece. The part where the shell is divided is where the goggles cover, so even if your design doesn't line up at the break, you won't be able to see it.

I like that idea, with the goggle part being the split.

I think that unwrapping is pretty wierd.
My suggestions:

1. Try to get the unwrapping more straight cuz right now it'd be a pain in the ass to make a big logo on it cuz it will totally get distorted.
2. Gogglestrap straight.
3. Helmet and mouth piece together, makes it easier to line things up.
4. Maybe try to make the goggle unwrap fit luiz' goggles cuz then we could combine them easier.

1. If you're talking about the shell of the helmet, that's just how the map goes so it doesn't have any distortion. I wouldn't be worried about distortion at all.
2. I can't without it being distorted the slightest bit on the model.
3. I can do that, I just didn't know if it would be easier to line up the middle of the vent as I have it.
4. I'd rather not distort the uv. It's not that hard to make a goggle strap, is it?

Thanks for the suggestions, though, it's good to think from a different angle.

No, what he means is that if you put a big logo (Fox Vortex for example) it will be uber hard to line it up.
