I'm in the same boat as you man. I'm thinking I'll just model the basic outline of the chest protector and the straps and start from there. The only thing I'm not too sure about is exporting for MXsim...

But here is a render that i did. This is gio's and wilson's engine with some modifications. I also completely redid the shrouds, seat, and number plate.

Yeah paul, there is so much different on the 2013 compared to the 2012. The frame, engine, and a lot of different parts on the bike need to be changed. Because it's just gonna look like the 2012 with different plastics. Everytime I look at your renders and see your posts, you only talk about messing with the plastics. Honestly with how much change there is, you cannot just take the 2012 model and add 2013 plastics. Look at 2 real life pictures of the bikes, they are not alike on so many levels. The bike looks great so far, but there is so much to change I think it would turn out better if you model everything, not just changing a few things on wilson's model.
If you ride a 4stroke I feel bad for you son! I got 99 problems but my valves ain't 1

Dude are you serious? I have modeled everything my self besides the engine. AND i added adjustments to the engine. I don't have words on how to describe how un-observatory you are.

I dont know if you noticed but I did say there are no norms yet...
See that square block were the engine should be, well nearly every bike in sim
has that same block, theres very little diffrence. What makes the engine is the diffuse, norm and spec.
Modeling details of the engine would end you with a poly count higher then the bike.
As for the frame, it may be 1cm to skinny. And the front fender seems to be floating below the triple clamp.
The front plate needs a couple minor changes.
The pipe could actually do with a less harsh bend in it.
But all the things I just said are very minor details that can be changed in 2-10mins (Not the engine stuff).

Maybe its just me but the bars look so high on that 2013 crf450. Not a knock at your model just trying to help point out stuff. Looks like it could be really nice. Good job so far.

I don't know if you already noticed this or something, but the numberplate is too short, the bottom needs to come down a bit further.
