Best place to start would be just surfing around youtube/google. Pick you preferred program of learning and learn it. The biggest thing I always tell people, you have to learn the program first the modeling will come along with it. If you don't understand the tools, terminology, etc. of it all, how are you supposed to use the tools to actually model?

- http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/Polycount - A lot of good information here

- DigitalTutors.com - One of the best Professional learning sites (tutorials, breakdowns, follow alongs, etc.) you will find. It does cost a good amount of money though. I wish when I was in school and had more time to dedicate to learning I would have started off with this website. Trust me if you have the flexibility financially to commit to a membership and you are HIGHLY serious about 3D, go here. Ramon was nice enough to lend me his account for a week just to see what it was like, and it is amazing the content you can learn.

- MXS Forums - Information is everywhere if you dig around a little bit, especially in the upcoming models thread.

The thing is a 3d model is a 3d model. There is nothing special for MXS than any other 3D content ever made. You have a million + 1 ways to model and software to use, that ultimately will get you the same result in the end. I had a hard time when I started figuring that out, I always woulds search for "How to model a dirt bike" or "How to make skins for Mx Simulator", etc. That is embarrassing to admit actually.
