[FILE DELETED] bridgestone-dunlop-pirelli hd wheels

Post by giopanda »

bridgestone dunlop pirelli hd mapped wheels, with full color line takasago excel rims and talon hubs.
tried to keep textures most realistic as possible, not like eskwaad's but almost.
there are a total of 35 colors combinations for each tyre brand for a total of 105 combinations, i think they're enough for everyone.
as you can see in this crappy screenshot  each brand has its custom normal map, with different holed knobs pattern (don't know how to call them), models are bridgestone m-203, dunlop geomax mx51 and pirelli scorpion mx

thanx and credits goes to wakestyle for his wonderful 3d model and dj for helping me out with it.
read readme to know how to choose the right color combination!

sure someone can..but who want to be the ripper?
since he said someone has it i want to ask and be sure there's no other way first, then maybe go for some ripping..maybe from jlv to avoid and kind of problems.

well i think i speak for a lot when i say i dont mind a 100mb download, where in 2010. if were playing games online/downloading then im sure people dont mind sitting around for 3-7 mins to download something thats WORTH it.

now on the other hand if they were crappy i would be angry :P jk

i know ddmx isnt on his main comp for a week or two,so hes knocked off ur list.

Its not just the physical size thats a problem. It will also use a bucket load less texture memory in game if they all use the same normal map.

If Wakestyle is fine with you having the .jm files, then I'm sure its no problem to get it from the saf. I'll get them out this afternoon, unless someone sends them to you first.

In saying that, it looks like I have the blend file. I'll send you that. I think it is the right one.

DJ wrote:As for C, I'd just duplicate the saf with DDMX's rider model in it, open up the saf, and rename rider_body-ddmxv2.jm to just rider_body.jm, then do as you did with A and B. Same goes with the helmet.
Do that^ but the opposite, understand?
