That's their killer marketing at work, but in actuality they are about the same as far as art production. Nice build quality tho.

Well they don't have the best software so this is where I get confused. Everyone uses photoshop etc, it's not specific to apple. Sony Vegas is better than what apple has, 3ds max, inventor, Avid pro tools, etc etc. With all this said, apple computers are made with the same hardware as a normal pc. I could build a pc and run apple on it (there's limited hardware capabilities though). I mean, literally the only difference is Apple costs a fuck ton and it runs a different OS.

Apple has some OSX specific file extensions that Windows doesn't know what to do with and the programs that do only work on OSX. If you don't know those file extensions and what they do, then you shouldn't have one.

I dont understand why people hate on macs so much. mine rums sim pretty good and the file system is a lot easier to navigate than windows 8.

I hate on Macs and Apple so much because you're not paying for the best premium hardware with that absolute monster of a premium price tag. iPhone 6 costs, I believe after overhead charges, which are charges for stuff not involved in the phone, such as paying workers, shipping, etc., only like $200 to make, based on this link while they charge $650, no upgrade for people to buy. A $450 profit per phone is not okay with me. Same with Macs. I could build the exact same machine (or better) as the iMac 5K Retina for a fraction of the cost. It's really quite sad
