Re: Game Suggestions
you can definitely get it pretty leaned over with no berm. just takes practice.. like in real life.. you didnt go out on your first ride ever (or many that fallowed.) and just lay the bike over in a sweeper.

1) Vioce chat in game
2) a vioce online that goes "RAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE QUITTTT" when either og the following happens; Rider gets passed, Rider falls off or is KNAPP.

Re: Game Suggestions
I know this has been suggested many many times, but we need some in game sounds.
Maybe not the bikes yet (they are good enough for me so far) but like environment sounds.
Example:
You take a hard turn deep in forest in a sandy track and you hear birds and leaves and wind there, also you find yourself throttling away while the sand hits the woods or the rocks and you continue, the bird sounds silents when you leave the forest, you hear the near by stream and take a jump, release throttle and listen to the sound of rocks and everything nature can bring to you.
Another example: 15 seconds to start, you hear the crowd nearby stadium, also you hear your coach speaking to you, then the voices calm down, you throttle and hear how the rocks hit bales and every other that's on your way, also light metal sounds when the rocks and stones hit your bike,
you come to the stadium and hear everything that you wanted, the race is yours.
I feel bit hobo after those 2 lines... Like a fairy tail teller.
Well just think about it i think it would reduce more realism to the game by adding the sounds that you hear on race tracks.
Other suggestion for today is for the in game editor (track editor i mean)
We need some updates for it, the object placement could be changed to like 3d, to see where you put it straight away.
Also the model import for the game is too difficult i think (or maybe i dint just understand it properly)
But the biggest idea for the editor is to get it separated, so the program could use feet or metric scale, so you don't have to convert it.
But when you save the final track it changed to feet's and set to the personal folder, the editor itself would have own folder and it would be just an addition that you download here. Free of course if you buy the game.
These are some suggestion, hope something make sense.

Re: Game Suggestions
Editor changes are really needed. At least something with the undo system, if I make a jump and go ride it and I don't like how it is, half the time I can't even undo to get rid of it. Then I have to hope I saved and restart the game again.

Re: Game Suggestions
That sure was not meant like that, i meant like you hear the rocks falling from your tires to the ground, sounds of gravel and what ever...Duckstream wrote:listen to the sound of rocks and everything nature can bring to you.

Re: Game Suggestions
I know this has been said multiple times before but I'll repeat it yet again. The rider needs to stick his leg out at much higher speeds than the current 20 mphs.

Those who possess strength have also known adversity.

Re: Game Suggestions
i think JLV shouldnt do anything for you people until you kids who constantly hit eachother online start to behave

Re: Game Suggestions
Or, he could do something to take care of the kids online. That would benefit all of us, besides the people ruining online. But hey, they don't care about us so what's the difference?

Re: Game Suggestions
since the suspension is gettin so damn crazy haha
i thought about lets add this factor possibly to the mix.
what about having a fork adjustment (or have it as a lower/raise ) i know we have the mass thing already but what about maybe using this fork adjustment as more of a heavy bike/lighter bike setup. Or have more travel in the suspension, and possibly on that factor make the travel/suspension longer to work more since its such a big factor in the game. (i know it might stretch the reality of the game but could work better?)
i was playing a few car games last night and i started thinking about this idea and ways to incorporate, because ride height does matter.
ex. nothing to complicated but just simple yet effective, not having 0-100
0-20 with 0 being almost no travel and 15 being the max.

Re: Game Suggestions
The boinking side to side is definetly a problem, and increasing the roll damping kind of sweeps the problem under the rug not gets rid of the problem. The rider wouldnt boink side to side if the rider had free-er movement over the seat. Think of when you start to swap in big rollers: first instict most of the time is to let the bike do its thing but keep your body positioned straight. If the rider had free-er movement in his ass, potential for no more boinking! How does this affect people who have over-riden "secret" settings? The stability change affects those secret settings.
I increased my roll damping and that helped a ton in the whoops - I've always felt the main problem with this game is that the bike/rider want to fall to the side all the time. Like in the whoops, you boink off to the side, it's never the front/back motion that makes you fall. Lots of other times (landing jumps awkwardly), it's a sudden movement to the side that makes you crash.
So by upping the roll damping, you can control that sudden sideways movement that causes crashes (at least that's how it's worked out for me). They still happen. Just not as much.

Re: Game Suggestions
I was just in a situation online where I was being lapped and I unintentionally took out someone racing for the lead. That someone happened to be ddmx.(sorry ddmx) I think the blue flag needs to be used. Here is my idea. What if once you fall behind a certain amount of time or are down a lap you are automatically put into non-collision mode similar to the warm up, but still able to finish the race. I dunno, I think this can get rid of a lot of problems online when it comes to accidental happenings like this.

Lappers are part of racing. Removing their collisions is silly

As are short tempers. good point DJ
Re: Game Suggestions
I bet you would not care about blue flags or non-collision mode if it was not ddmx you hit.
