I think it's still as close to possible if you "lean" left to go right, at high speeds, but "turn" right, to go right, when you have no speed at all.

Just set up your own server, and tell the people that you want racing what the address is

Not really hard no, just fully read the included read me and you should be fine (also download the server template DJ made, it's on one of the first few pages in the mxserver topic).

The fact is, that is what really happens in real life.
It is what happens in real life for sure, at speed. But for very low speeds, you can turn much sharper if you turn your wheel into the turn. If you tried that at speed, you would immediately flop to the ground. This is because the ground deflects the bike into a roll, but at low speeds, that doesn't happen, gravity does the rolling.

For anything above 'very low speed', opposite is king. But, at very low speeds it is inefficient compared to real life, in my opinion.

I agree with giopanda, it would be nice to have a slider that says "below x mph, lean and turn in the same direction as the input. Above that, turn in the opposite." It probably should have a bit of a transition between the two also, so the rider doesn't just jerk the wheel in the other direction once it hits x mph.

Very good thoughts prologue, and I agree 100% with what you say. I'm just trying to imagine in real life how fast I go before I start to counter steer instead of steer. It is a very very low speed indeed. Maybe something like 5-7 feet per second.

I would like a set of supermoto physics, like how there's arcade and normal physics. Add another setting for supermoto. Like have a MUCH higher dab speed, and the ablity to slide INTO the corners, with a controlled slide, not just have the back end step out and send you into a highside. Backing it in is one of the coolest things about supermoto and we can't even do it in game. :|

But i'm probably one of only 3 or 4 people that even think this is a good idea. lol

I like this idea too and maybe it can be slightly modified for using it for speedwaying/flattrack/grasstrack

Hey it's just a suggestion, I mean if you could slide into the corner you should be able to keep to do that on the gas too (I know you can powerslide now also but that's different) but I don't know much about physics so correct me if I'm wrong. I just think it would be nice :).

Well what about online when you want a mx race and you just go there play with supermoto things on?
You can slide and enter corners faster and better?
IDK it would be cool but there would be limited servers? own for mx and moto? (setup)

Don't think you need any supermoto mod just to make it slide on supermoto tracks.
Well i don't know, but I think you could make some decent supermoto tracks with the new tile info or something (correct me if I'm wrong)
