Between two timing gates the pitboard .png and the lap times / person behind should flash up on the screen and then go off. The pitboard should only show on the one designated area of track, all other areas on the track you should not be able to see that info.
That was what I originally wanted to do, but I decided it was too strict. It would definitely be more like real racing that way.

Right now I am just riding with it pretty high and dealing with the extra leveling at high speed. I would recommend that the speed slider be able to go all the way down to 0 or 1 mph (or whatever the units you use are). I really only feel like I need extra low speed leveling when I am going really slow.
Do you think you'd ever want it to be different than the slow damping setting? Maybe I should just make slow damping do this too.

uh, so, apparently the "roost density" under "graphic settings" changes how erode works, so graphic settings pretty much changes the physics of the game?

You could probably use the same factor and it would be ok, it would keep the number of sliders down for sure. The only thing I would worry about is getting so much leveling that it would try to knife once you hit the lower speed. So maybe it would be good to have it turn on at the same speed as the slow damping setting, but be able to adjust the factor independently. That would only add one slider to the mix.

Duh. It makes sense. The more roost you shoot up, the more thats not under you anymore.

Yeah but its under "graphic settings", should only be a visual thing..It makes you lag so bad, especially if you're playing online with like 10 people..Erode should work without roost density

I believe it's not the visual part of the roost that makes your game lag, it lags because it has to calculate the trajectory of the roost. Like where the roost particle is from and where it lands. The erode uses this information to modify the ground, so it couldn't basicly work without lagging.
Atleast this is what I think, but I've been caught before explaining about stuff I don't know jack shit about

It does, try turning erode on, set roost density to 10 (lowest) and spin the rear wheel, then set it at 1000 (max), huge difference.
And roost density really makes me lag, not so much when its set low but when its like 250+ it makes me lag really bad
With 1st person it still working in that way . I just noticed that sice i've been working with erode in my track.
If you set your erode to 3.0 and use 100 of roost densivity it will make a slower deformation than if the roost densivity was set to 300

i think there shod be a button for the legs when your leaning in to turns u press a button and he puts the leg out on the side that you are leaning then u will get more speed thou the turn(and i think the body position sud be fixed).
Turn you rider vertical spring and damping up all the way.He will stand taller. But normally pro mx riders don't have their legs all the way stretched. And about the rider,it has been discussed many times, nut I do not remember an answer ever.
Was reminded of this watching the JLV SX replica series...
Would be REALLY nice if we could just download peoples skins directly when on a server or watching a demo. I tried to grab all the skins I could and STILL the only people who's skins showed up were people wearing Oneal gear...
Make it an option to turn off or on. OR something. I just would really like to see what people are wearing instead of the FMX inspired stock skin (or even worse, the stock helmet Yuck! )
